About the host
Hosted by Jason Lonstein

Our family has had a cabin in the woods of Telemark since 1979. Our original cabin was on the lot just up the hill from the current cabin. It was a tiny trailer home that we enlarged by putting on a porch, a loft and a second bathroom. It was still very small, but we loved it, loved the area and loved the time together as a family.
In 2003, we were forced to say goodbye to our old cabin because age - and nature – had taken its toll. While arranging for the tear down, we saw that our current cabin was for sale. We had always admired the place but have never actually been inside. After a quick viewing and very little debate, we said hello to our new cabin in the woods.
We have now welcomed the third generation of our family to these wonderful woods, and we hope you find them as welcoming and peaceful as we always have.
