We needed a place that could accommodate our family of 10 for our nephew’s wedding and the Maple Bottom Farmhouse was the perfect fit. Our three granddaughters, ages 3,5,8, enjoyed interacting with the farm animals and couldn’t get enough of Bob, the adorable calico cat. We appreciated the pet friendliness aspect as well. Susan was a wonderful host and prepared delicious and hearty breakfasts. We would definitely stay here again!
Well executed renovation of an old farmhouse, delightful breakfast, very enjoyable interaction with owner and with the farm animals. An enterprising operation overall. Highly recommend.
A group of 6 bike riders and 1 support vehicle rented the entire farmhouse b&b for the first night of our trip from Pittsburgh - DC on the GAP and C&O trails. The farmhouse was perfect -- large with many comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings, and a self serve Red Shed with fresh beef, eggs, yogurt and ice cream. Suzie cooked an amazing breakfast for the group before heading out on the trail the next day. Loved our stay here and highly recommend. (A calf was born when we were there!)
Well, I’ll start off by saying I would come back solely for Sue’s breakfasts!
Our family of nine stayed at Victoria’s farm while we were in town for a family reunion. The home is so unique and beautiful as is the farm and the accompanying sunflower fields. Our three kids helped feed the goats and looked for eggs with Sue.
We had a wonderful time, and we’re looking for an excuse to return one day. Thank you Sue and Victoria!
