Our Premier Cabins at River Ridge Retreat offer the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and rustic charm. Tucked into the peaceful woods on our 670-acre property, these cabins are ideal for families or couples looking to unplug and reconnect with nature—without sacrificing the comforts of home. Guests can enjoy miles of hiking and biking trails, a scenic fishing pier, playgrounds, a gathering center, and on-site golf cart rentals. For those craving adventure beyond the retreat, off-site options include horseback riding, ziplining, boat rentals, and even big-name concerts—just a short drive away. Sleeping Arrangements: Master bedroom with a cozy queen bed Bunk room with a twin-over-twin bunk bed Cozy Living Room (linens not provided if couch is used for sleeping) Cabin Features: Full-size kitchen with standard appliances, basic cookware, dishware for four, and a 4-cup drip coffee maker (please bring your own coffee and filters) Full bathroom with tub shower combo! perfect for the littles! Satellite TV in the master & living room, heat & air conditioning for year-round comfort. Covered Porch—a great spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation, with views of nearby play areas Private fire ring & charcoal grill for cookouts and stargazing On-site coin laundry for added convenience Add a special touch to your stay with an optional custom s’mores kit, delivered right to your cabin before arrival! Linen & Bedding Info: All beds are made with sheets, duvets and pillows. One set of bath linens are provided for up to four guests. If you plan to use the sofa for sleeping, please bring your own linens or request extras in advance for a small fee (based on availability). If you have specific bedding or pillow preferences, feel free to bring your own for added comfort. Please Note: This Unit Is Not Pet-Friendly To maintain the cleanliness and comfort of these cabins for all guests, pets are not permitted in Cabin 6. This was our second time staying at this property and won't be our last. We enjoyed the fire pit and just having a space to ourselves. It is close to High Falls and several other places to visit. We have friends close by and it is just a great place for a weekend getaway.

Beautiful lake cabins

We absolutely loved our stay at the River Ridge Retreat. The property is everything and more than described. Our cabin was perfect for what we needed and very comfortable for or family of three. Management was easy to work with and helpful to make our stay a pleasant experience. I highly recommend River Ridge Retreats for your stay in beautiful Northeast Alabama. We will be back! Thank you!

Cute cabin in the woods

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. My kids enjoyed the playground and bunkbeds. The map makes it look like the lake is closer than it is. FYI, it is about a two miles hike to the lake or a quick drive. However, had I known this I still would have booked it. It was very clean, and the owner responded quickly to my questions.
