Kitchen supplies were adequate, but not really made for large family cooking. Part of the reason we stay at a house instead of a motel is the ability to cook. We made it work, but had to use multiple pots and pans instead of 1 large pot or pan for many of the things we made.
We enjoyed our stay here. When we first arrived, the cleaning staff was on their way. We left for dinner and came back to a clean house. We had what we needed for the 3 nights we were in town and plenty of room for me, my husband, three daughters and my mom. Fair price and decent place to stay. I’m sure we would stay here again if we come back through this area.
This was a nice enough place for a family gathering, but there were a few things that needed improvement. There were no house numbers on it. There were no kitchen towels that we could find, and a couple of the bath towels had stains. Dust was pretty thick under a bed and there was no bulb in the bedside lamp.
We had a wonderful time at this property! It was our first stop of our road trip along the Pacific Northwest. House was very clean and met our needs. Close to many activities in the Rogue Valley. Beds are very comfortable and owner was quick to respond when we had any questions. Nice quiet neighborhood! Check in and check out process was super easy, I highly recommend this property.
In general, this was a great place for us because of the location near our event at Fichtner-Mainwaring Park. Only concern was the dishes in the dishwasher weren’t clean and I’m assuming that was just an oversight.

Liked: Communication, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Cleanliness
The house is lovely and has potential but we were very disappointed during our stay. Major issue was cleanliness. Our feet were covered in dirt from walking a little bit around the house. They upstairs bathroom was obviously not cleaned because there were poop stains in the toilet and fresh feet prints on the bathroom rug next to the shower. A dirty bed sheet shoved in the corner of the laundry room. The lower twin bed was not made. The AC unit in the living room drips water onto the couch just under it. The AC unit in one of the bedrooms is extremely loud. Missing an AC unit controller in another room. We had ONE hand soap dispenser that was obviously watered down. There was no shampoo. The water to the fridge was not hooked up. Hardly any dishes to use for cooking in a rental that allows 6 people. Would not recommend.
The property is located between Medford and Jacksonville. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The house is on a large lot. There are three bedroom that are separated from each other. Two are on the first floor and one is on the second. Very nice home.
It was a very nice house. It had plenty of room. Close to my sons house. Had 3 issues to call about.
At one point we were locked out of the house. We had apparently turned the lock on the handle which was a 2nd lock. We were locked out for an hour before we received answers back to calls and texts.
The upstairs shower hot/and cold dial was backwards which we didn’t know and didn’t get a hot shower til the next day.
They have a container for bottled water which ran out and we texted them but never got the water. We had to buy our own.
The TV reception was not very good.
All in all we had a nice time and other then
being locked out it was a good place to stay. I would stay there again.
The home was easy to access and very clean upon entry. We were pleased to find that the owner had even supplied toiletries and laundry soap! The only critiques we had were that there were towels in the dryer and the shower upstairs handle was wonky, so cold was hot and hot was cold. Otherwise, it was fantastic and beautiful. We would definitely stay here again with our family of 7.
House was lovely & very clean, kids room had a few extras that was really appreciated; great communication with host. I had a couple of last minute questions and they were so helpful. Thanks!
The house is about 1600 sq ft & seems very secure with a recently remodeled king bed ensuite upstairs. Also the recently remodeled downstairs has 1 bedroom with a queen bed (with a little squeak) & 1 bedroom with a twin bed (didn't use) as well as bath, kitchen, laundry room, dining room & living room. When everyone was in bed, I went to the bathroom & the floor squeaked under each footstep ... enough that others heard. The showers were great! And a close ride to Jacksonville for a Britt concert.
We are hoping to move to the PNW, so we rented a house to kind of "experience life", so to speak. This house was AMAZINGLY WELL DESIGNED! I actually want to model my future home after this one.
The area is a little sketchy looking, but I'm not sure if that is just Medford in general, or the neighborhood. I did feel safer here than I do in San Antonio TX.
Thank you again!
We had a very relaxing three day stay even though our plans changed. A slight problem with uninvited, non-paying ants was taken care of immediately and eliminated. We would stay here again!
