Great home away from home expreince. The location offered privacy. The home is spacious, clean and has great amenitites. Me and my businessa associates had a wonderful stay.
We were pleasantly surprised at this little oasis! Beautiful home, secluded on 47 acres of land, providing the perfect private vacation.Home was bigger than expected, very clean and maintained.Plenty of amenities to keep the family busy, from the heated in ground pool, separate hot tub and game room.
The house was everything advertised & more. No one wanted to leave - grandkids loved the pool & hot tub - as well as the rest of us. The patio was beautiful & great to sit & keep a watch on the kids in the pool. So much room & huge kitchen. Samantha was so kind & accommodating.
We loved the location & the property! It made our trip to Niagara Falls easy. Loved seeing the deers every day what a treat. We also got to see Robins leave the nest during our stay at the house. Highly recommend this property for a vacation destination!
The house was perfect for a family vacation! You did not need to leave the property. The kitchen is awesome for cooking for a large group and the outside entertainment area is beautiful! Relaxing, peaceful and perfect!
One of the nicest vacation rentals ever. The home was immaculate - kudos to whomever does the cleaning. Very spacious home, beautifully decorated, kitchen well equipped. The large back porch had a great view of the meadow below and we watched the deer feeding and fawns playing. Samantha was a super host!
This property was amazing! The house is huge and appointed with the best of everything. The pool, the porch, the firepit - it was all great. The host Samatha was so nice and easy to deal with; she responded immediately to my questions. My family and I had a fantastic time, and it was so nice to be in a space that accommodated all of us. Thanks for allowing us to stay.
This spacious home is so inviting and comfortable that you won't want to leave. The sprawling property is private, absolutely beautiful and perfect for hiking. The location is secluded, yet not too far from everything...grocieries, gas, restaurants, amusement park, waterfront, etc. The home has a great layout and is superbly appointed. The amenities are awesome - from the pool, hot tub, fire-pit, kids swings/play area, and heated back porch, to the quality appliances, game room, awesome master bedroom/ensuite, and gym! The host, Samantha, was always quick to respond whenever we had a question. She was very accommodating, which made our stay even better. This place made our family getaway even more memorable and is definitely one to revisit!
Amazing property to be allowed to share and enjoy. The builder of this home was a genius. The crown molding details are like nothing you have seen. Truly incredible. Home is very large with every detail thought through perfectly. The owners thought of everything. As a regular with vrbo for many years, this was the nicest home we ever stayed in. And every tiny detail including toys for kids, gates, stools, etc., were all addressed upfront by the owners. This property gets a property of the decade award for us and all our family. It is worth staying just to see the builder’s amazing craftsmanship. On a scale of one to five.. this property gets a 10! Yes, double best of the best and this home in Alden. NY wins. It was an honor to share this home.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Unfortunately, I can't recommend this property to others. The home was very poorly maintained and many of the listing's amenities were broken or not functioning. Most seriously, one of the knobs on the kitchen stove broke on the last day of our stay and started a major gas leak. We had to wake up two kids under 3 who were napping and evacuate. The host was responsive, but the stove clearly hadn't been serviced or tested recently. The hot tub was broken for the entire length of our stay. We could not get the living room fireplace to work and there were no instructions. Washing machine didn't work. Half of the TV's in the entire house did not work, including the large TV in the downstairs game room. 75% of the remotes laying around the house didn't even have batteries in them. All it took was losing an iPhone down the couch cushions to realize how long it's been since it was cleaned (don't look underneath it, either). We also had strangers staying on the property that weren't disclosed to us at any time. Two cars consistently came and went from the large garage that's right next to the home, and we saw people go inside and stay overnight. Did not feel private or transparent. For the nightly rate being charged, you expect for the house to be in working order. It was not.
Buffalo area sanctuary located close to everything
We spent three nights at this wonderful secluded property while visiting the Buffalo area for the Bills v Jets game in December 2022. The home is set on a secluded property just beyond an otherwise unassuming residential neighborhood in Alden, NY. The home is beautiful and well appointed throughout with plenty of room for everyone to stretch-out and enjoy the property's amenities. You'll be about 30 minutes from Downtown Buffalo, Orchard Park, and Niagra Falls depending upon which direction you travel. You'd be hard pressed to find a better homebase from which to explore while visiting the Buffalo area. And, it's a welcome retreat to return to in the afternoon or evening when your daily exploration is done. Our traveling party of 9 (4 adults, 5 children) enjoyed our stay tremendously. The owner, Samantha, was very easy to reach and communicate with and worked with us to accommodate our needs at check in and check out. It's without hesitation that I'd recommend this 5-star property if your travel brings you to Buffalo, Alden, or the surrounding area.
Everything was great. Pool was the perfect size for everyone and the fence allowed for great safety with the kids. The house was enormous. Easy to have fun with the family or to find a space to read a book. Also you really feel like you are all by yourself (no neighbors) but still have the convenience of grocery story's in Alden. Def considering another stay
This home, nestled in the woods of Alden is absolutely perfect! It is modern and very comfortable. The kitchen is spectacular. Our family loves cooking together... there was plenty of room for all 8 of us to dive in! The back porch is completely perfect for morning coffee. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms are also large and really nice. If you're visiting western NY, this home is perfect!
We are a family of 5 that loves to travel. This house was our main residence until about 2 years ago when work pulled us out of state. We love visiting the house and all the property has to offer. We still visit a few times a year.
