The real star of the home of course is the lake and its epic views! You will enjoy a fully furnished screened-in porch just off the dining area with views from the north end of the lake to the south. With a 40-foot deck off the main floor, you will have plenty of space to soak up the sun and enjoy the water!
When you're not enjoying your private lake access. Pony up to our custom wet bar positioned just off the main lower level and relax! Toss a few darts on our barroom dart board or cozy up to one of two fireplaces. Just steps off the lower living area is the outdoor porch with plenty of seating. Here you can directly access the water and the private dock, perfect for swimming (equipped with ladder), fishing, boating, or other water activities. We welcome you to bring your boat or rent one on the lake and tie-up to our dock.

Our family(8 adults, two kids) had a wonderful long weekend. We swam off the dock, rented a pontoon boat one day and took it to The Boathouse(can see it from house) for lunch, enjoyed the sunrises, and enjoyed grilling and playing games each night.

Beautiful views indeed! So happy your coming back for a 2nd year in a row! Looking forward to hosting you again.
Chris was amazing to work with! We had a problem with our boat and he was patient and allowed enough time to get the boat towed past our checkout time. Highly recommend

Was great hosting your family. Always happy to be flexible whenever at all possible. Hope to have you back again!
We had a business retreat for 3 nights and had a marvelous time at this lovely home. The view is wonderful and peaceful, the home had many convenient amenities and Chris was incredibly responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay here again!
The home was beautiful with an incredible off the lake view! What you see is what you get a very comfortable, lovely, relaxing vacation home. I highly recommend this property!
I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at this home. We have stayed here before and have always had a great experience. The house is very clean. The host is very responsive. And the location on the lake can't be beat!
The house is a very nice, clean and comfortable family home. My guests and I enjoyed the home and lake front very much. The home exactly as presented on VRBO. I would stay there again.
The property was very nice and clean. It was in a very good location that worked well as a gathering place for three generations of our family. We had a a special request that we communicated to the Host well in advance, and the Host was very gracious to work with us to find a mutually acceptable resolution to that request.
Overall very good. Location, parking, access to golf and restaurants all good. Only issue was problem with internet/TV during stay that prohibited watching certain events.

Sorry again about the TV. We tried to troubleshoot and then had Comcast service call scheduled that day and they came at the first availability to fix.
We had a group of 10 coming to town and wanted to stay under one roof. The house was perfect! On the water, nice amenities and the bar area was great for entertaining. It is a neighborhood so you have to be respectful to the noise level, but we never had an issue. The downtown is walking distance with lots of great food and shopping options. The Boathouse was such a vibe. We didn't get a chance to eat elsewhere, but lots of pizza, bbq and breakfast spots. The local grocery mart was adorable as well with good coffee selection. We will be back.....we hit up Indy once a year! Chris is great as a host.

Your group was a pleasure to host! Sounds like you had a great time. Hope to host you again!
We enjoyed the property very much. The location was great and access to Morse was perfect. We very much liked the openness of the living area, dining, kitchen, living room. The deck was also a perfect location to view the reservoir. There was plenty of room for family activities. The only glitch was the house hadn't be cleaned when we arrived. There was a miscommunication with the cleaners. The owner, Chris took care of the problem.

Again sorry about the cleaner mix up. Glad we got it resolved quickly, thats never happened before! Glad you guys had a great time. Hope to host you again.
We had a family reunion and this house was perfect for that! The owner responded quickly and everything was just as we thought it would be. If I had suggestions it would be to get new refrigerators and a few things to in the lake. The upstairs refrigerator doors kept popping open and the downstairs was not functional. We saw one of the neighbors had one of those mats in the lake. Something like that would be nice. Overall it’s a fantastic property that I highly recommend!

Thanks Kelley, glad you enjoyed the property. We already did replace the basement fridge as it unexpectedly went out just before your stay.

Disliked: Listing accuracy
Not as expected
Although the owner did his part to try and correct the wrongs. This property is neglected and in need of significant TLC. Missing light bulbs, missing table tops, no propane, missing outlet covers, urine smelling bedding and mattress, treacherous holes in the yard, missing baby gate, no top sheets on some beds, no blankets on others, not enough towels, refrigerator temperature problems were just a few of the issues we had to deal with.

Theres a lot to respond to here, I think I'll start with what I did to accommodate this group and handle every issue that they had come up. I did a lot for these renters and they still just had endless complaints.
I allowed this renter to access the home early to drop off their boat so they didn't have to tow it to the airport.
I allowed them to have well over 16 people in our home, which is not allowed per our rules, even though they rented it for 12.
I paid for a baby gate for them because previous renters broke the one we had. I had this there in 1 days time.
They had issues with our upstairs fridge, and even though my home warranty company set a 3 week timeframe to get a service person out there I called 3 other companies and paid extra to have some come out that day (mind you, we have 2 full size fridges and the other was working fine). I also offered to pay these renters for Ice if they had to use coolers more than they planned on.
I had the service guy come out on the first day and his fix apparently didn't work, I had him come out the next day too but he got stuck at a job and didn't get back out until the following day. He mentioned that whoever he interacted with was one of the most rude people he has encountered. That in itself says something about these renters.
I also ordered a brand new fridge hoping it could be there in time for these renters but it wasn't coming until a day after they left, so essentially I paid a service person a bunch of money to appease them even though the fridge was being replaced the next day.
I paid them for the propane tank that ran out on them, which I have no obligation to do, but did anyhow.
I paid them almost double what it cost for the gate and the propane tank to again apologize for any inconvenience they incurred.
Now onto the rest of these complaints.
Bedding: Absolutely 0% change there was a bed with no blankets, blankets are on every bed every reset, not a single renters has said the same. Also, absolutley 0% chance there was urine on the bedding or mattresses. I rent this house 50 times a year not a single complaint on this either, this is just fabricated. I had my cleaners put the bedding aside and put brand new bedding on just in case, I was there the next week and nothing smelled of urine the bed was 100% fine.
Towels: There were 16 towels at least at the property, more than enough for 12 renters, again they decided to bring well over 12 renters to my house so maybe there wasn't enough for all the extra people. Also there is a washer and dryer on premise. Other week long renters wash their own towels.
Outlet covers, lightbulbs, holes in yard. I don't have much to say there, I cannot control when a lightbulb goes out, and when an animal digs a hole in the yard
All in all I gave these renters a good review because I wasn't going to air them out in public but they are just a bunch of complainers, they break the rules of the house by having way more guests than were paid or or allowed. Our other reviews speak for themselves 99% of our renters are great and love the home.
