You’ll have access to all areas of the house, except for a few locked closets containing the owner's personal items & cleaning supplies. There’s plenty of space for you to store your personal belongings during your stay.

When you go to the ski slopes, you can park your car at the Resort's parking lot (first come first serve) or in the Moonridge lot which is 4 minutes away from our cabin. In the lots, there will be shuttles bringing you to the mountain.

🚫 House Rules for Ons Beren Huis:
- Max Occupancy: 10 guests. Exceeding this will result in eviction without refund.
- Parking: Park in designated driveway or dirt road across from the property. No street parking. Illegally parked cars may l be towed at the vehicle owner’s expense.
- Age: Minimum rental age is 25.
- Pets: No pets allowed. Violators will be evicted with no refund & responsible for cleaning costs.
-Trash Disposal: Please use the designated outdoor containers for all trash. Do not leave any waste behind, including items in the fridge

- Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in after 4:00 PM; check-out before 10:00 AM. Early check-in/late check-out requires host approval & may incur fees.
- Music & Noise: No amplified music beyond property lines 24/7. To respect our full-time neighbors, please keep noise levels down between 10:00 PM & 7:00 AM
- Eviction: Guests who engage in disruptive or unlawful behavior may be evicted without a refund & may also be subject to city-issued citations

- Access: Guests must allow access to the property for repairs or inspection if needed.
- Smoking & Drugs: No smoking, vaping, or use of illegal drugs on the property. Violations will incur additional charges.
- Parties & Events: No parties, weddings, gatherings, or filming.
- Fireworks & Open Fires: Strictly prohibited on the property.
- BBQ Use: Only the propane grill provided may be used. No charcoal or personal grills.Propane refills can be done at the local DIY
- Damage: Guest is responsible for damages to property & agrees to reimburse costs for repairs or replacements.
- Liability: Guests assume all risks; homeowners are not liable for accidents, injuries, or illness during the stay.
- Mechanical or Electrical Issues: No refunds for equipment failures, wildlife sightings, or circumstances beyond the host’s control (e.g., weather, power outages).
- Acts of Nature: Due to the location, weather events like road closures, power outages, or snow may impact your stay. No refunds for these issues. Guests should purchase travel insurance.
- Snow Removal: Snow plowing may take time during storms. Shovels are provided for your convenience. Snow removal is the guest's responsibility during the stay.

✍️ Other Things to note:

Snow Info: Snow chains required from November to April. Snow removal responsibility of guest; shoveling may be needed for access to the cabin.
- While we all love the snow, please be aware that it is your responsibility to reach & vacate the cabin on your scheduled dates. No refunds will be given if you leave early or cannot make it due to weather conditions.

After booking, you can choose between a quick and easy virtual check-in or an in-person check-in—whichever you prefer!
Virtual Check-In: Simply verify your ID and agree to the same house rules listed on Airbnb, all from the comfort of your phone.
In-Person Check-In: If you'd rather check in face-to-face, we’re happy to accommodate.
Whichever option you choose, we’ll ensure a smooth and seamless arrival!

Please know that we all LOVE IT when it snows, however, understand that it is your responsibility to get to the cabin and to vacate the cabin on your departure date. No refunds will be made if you decide to leave early or for some other reason could not make it to the cabin due to the weather.

Make sure you have snow chains/tires - it is a mandate set by the officials of Big Bear/San Bernardino County. In Big Bear Lake, you are not allowed to park or keep your vehicle parked on public roads.

We have a contract with local snow plowers to clean the driveway and the steps leading to the front door. Please understand that on snow days, they will be busy and it can take the entire day for them to make it to the house. For your convenience, we have left snow shovels by the front door.
