South Ardèche Labeaume, between RUOMS and Joyeuse, 15 km from Vallon Pont d'Arc (Caverne du Pont d'Arc) in the small hamlet of CHAPIAS, 4-star detached house for rent, built from local stone, 155 m², sleeps 8 ADULTS + 1 BABY MAXIMUM. The house is located in the heart of nature on the family estate in a 14-hectare park, shared between two other gîtes and the family's homes (NO ROADS NEARBY). The ‘L'orée du bois’ gîte at La Mare aux Anges is ideal for those seeking peace, tranquillity, rest, space, serenity and silence above all else. A little corner of paradise for nature lovers, with its 180° panoramic view of the Cévennes mountains. You can admire beautiful sunsets... as well as a stunning Milky Way while lying on your deckchairs. There are numerous rivers nearby for family swimming, including the Ardèche, La Beaume, Le Chassezac, La Drobie and L'Ibie.

All mod cons. Single-storey house, 4 bedrooms including two air-conditioned suites, 3 bathrooms, 3 WCs, large 30 m² covered terrace to enjoy the shade, and large private areas around the house where you can take a nap in the shade of the oak trees.
You can enjoy the private 8x4x1.5 m swimming pool with its submerged beach, outdoor shower and 32 m² terrace. The pool is heated depending on the weather conditions in May (24° MAX). There is also a ping-pong table and a pétanque court.

What a super nice place!

We had a lovely week. Quick communication with the hospitable owners, a comfortable, clean and complete house. Absolute peace and quiet, wonderful nature (special birds in the garden!) and a cool swimming pool!

Fantastic family holiday

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. The check in and arrival information was clear. The house is truly beautiful and set in a wonderful peaceful location. The facilities are great. the indoor/outdoor eating area is perfect and the pool is incredible. We went for bike, rides, visited grottos, local markets and rivers and relaxed at the house using the pool, petanque area and playing in the garden. We couldn't of asked for a better holiday and the hosts were lovely.

Le gîte à L'Orée du Bois à Chapias est un endroit à recommander pour passer des vacances au calme ( rien que le bruit des cigales), reposantes avec tout le confort. L'hébergement correspondait en tous points au descriptif de l'annonce ( voir même plus en terme d'équipements ). Magaly et son époux sont des hôtes très accueillants et pleins de bons conseils pour vous aider à découvrir cette merveilleuse région qu'est l'Ardèche. Un endroit que nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Magnifique séjour dans une maison et un cadre superbes

La maison et la propriété correspondent en tout point à la description faite dans l'annonce mais, qui plus est, le degré de soin et le souci du détail que les très discrets propriétaires Joseph et Magaly apportent pour le confort des vacanciers et afin qu'ils se sentent comme chez eux est vraiment remarquable et assez rare dans ce type de locations. Le bâtiment et la configuration des lieux ont été conçus avec qualité et intelligence (insonorisation, climatisation, piscine, etc.). L'équipement est complet et hyper fonctionnel. La propriété gigantesque et arborée est le point de départ idéal pour de très jolies promenades, en étant suffisamment retirée sans être trop loin de tout. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Wunderschönes Haus in absoluter Traumlage

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Ferienwoche in dem in traumhafter Landschaft gelegenen Ferienhaus. Das Haus bietet alles was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht und ist sehr geschmackvoll und vollständig eingerichtet. Wir haben uns zu acht (Zwei Familien mit Kindern zwischen 9 und 17 Jahren) sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Lediglich das WLAN ist manchmal etwas langsam aber das störte nicht wirklich. Der Jugend hat vor allem das schöne Pool mit der Sonnenterrasse gut gefallen. Die Alleinlage auf dem weitläufigen Gelände, mitten in der herrlichen Landschaft, mit wunderbaren Ausblicken bietet absolute Ruhe. Nachts kann man sogar die Wildschweine von der Terrasse aus beobachten. Der Weg ins nächste Dorf ist nur ein paar Kilometer mit dem Auto. Vom Haus aus kann man schöne Wanderungen zu einem kleinen Aussichtsturm und auch an die Beaume unternehmen. Vielen Dank an Magaly und Joseph für die unkomlipzierte Kommunikation und den leckeren Wein, der bei der Ankunft für uns kühl gestellt war! Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Excellente vacances en famille, idéalement située la maison est un havre de paix,accueillante ou seul le chant des cigales nous a bercé durant le séjour. Les enfants ont pu profiter des grands espaces autour de la maison et de la piscine en toute sécurité. De magnifiques couchers de soleil chaque soir de la terrasse, suivi dès la nuit tombée d'une exploration de la voie lactée, allongés sur nos transats. Wunderschönes Bauernhaus in idyllischer Umgebung

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem Haus. Die Ausstattung und Größe sind sehr gut, reichlich Platz für 6 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder und eine riesengrosses Außengelände. Alles gepflegt und sauber. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und haben gute Tipps für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung. Le cadre est exceptionnel avec de grands espaces et de fabuleux couchers de soleil. Idéal même avec des enfants en bas âge, car aucune crainte avec la piscine hors sol. Beautiful house, beautiful settings

Spent a week in this beautiful and spacious house. Settings were amazing and it was ideal for two young daughters. The raised swimming pool was easily secured so it was relaxing to know that the kids could run around safely. The inside space was very family friendly and the kitchen/dining room was ideal to have the whole family gathered around socialising. We had a couple of issues with our car and Joseph, the owner was very helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a relaxing, beautiful escape from your day to day life, this is the place to go. La maison est très agréable, propre et accueillante, très bien équipée, idéale avec des enfants en bas âge. Le site est exceptionnel, la maison est sur un causse reculé et très au calme tout en étant au coeur de l'ardèche et de ses nombreuses activités : randonnées, baignades, visites de sites naturels exceptionnels. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette magnifique région et avons beaucoup apprécié les baignades conseillées par le propriétaire.

Une semaine trop courte passé dans un endroit au calme absolu, en parfait accord avec la nature. Acceuil par les propriétaires disponibles, discrets en gentils, toujours à l'écoute pour des conseils. Maison en excellent état, et meublé avec gout, rien ne manque. Défendu de faire du BBQ à cause de la sécheresse dans la région.Voiture indispensable. Recommandons la location pour des : familles avec enfants en bas âges. visites touristiques ballades à pied.

Maison spacieuse et très confortable, tant au niveau de l'équipement (cuisine, SDB, ...) que de la déco. Cadre superbe et équipement extérieur très complet et en très bon état de marche et de propreté (piscine, transats, jeux extérieurs). Un séjour très agréable, reposant, dépaysant : nombreuses activités alentour pour petits et grands (canoé-kayak, équitation, accro-branche, rivières, randonnées...)
