Welcome to Basecamp on the Yampa, an "EXCEPTIONAL" 3 bed 2.5 bath condo in downtown large terrace overlooking the Yampa River and huge mountain ski and biking park (Emerald Mountain- Howelsen). Outstanding location on the quiet side of downtown and within walking distance to all things Steamboat, or a short bus ride away to skiing. With local Steamboat owners and over 200 5-star guest reviews this beautiful condo is a wonderful way to enjoy Steamboat Springs. Well behaved dogs with respectful owners considered.
There is no better location to truly experience Steamboat like a local! This very spacious (1760 sq feet) 3 Bedroom 2.5 Bath is beautifully furnished with an eclectic style and full of local art. We have an amazingly stocked kitchen for all of your cooking/baking needs. Each room has a smart TV with cable in main rooms and surround sound on main floor. We stock our unit with toiletries; hair dryers and cleaning/laundry supplies you need to for your stay. We use all natural, refillable or non-plastic products to reduce waste. The large deck has lots of seating and a gas grill and of course, views!
All bedrooms are located upstairs. The Primary Suite has a King Bed, on-suite bath with separate shower and tub and incredible views of the river. The large, second bedroom has a Queen Bed and the Third Bedroom has a Queen Bed and Twin XL. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom. Additional sleeping is by a very comfortable folding Queen mattress which can be used anywhere.
What makes this condo truly wonderful is the location. Located directly across from the Yampa River with amazing views you can hear the river when the windows are open. The bike path is located across the street. The library and Park are less than a block away. The Free Bus stop to the ski area is one short block away. Within walking distance are many restaurants, bars and shops but without the noise and congestion.
There is Private garage and additional parking for 1 additional car in a first come first serve lot.
Well behaved dogs with respectful owners considered. Please let us know when booking that you are bringing a pet. You must sign a pet agreement prior to your reservation.

great spot on the Yampa and footpath. highly recommend for anyone looking for downtown location. it is quiet and peaceful. Steven is very responsive and condo is in great shape, well worth it!
The location is excellent, being right downtown and close to restaurants, activities, and the bus line to the mountain. The property was clean, and the hosts were helpful and accommodating during our visit.
We had unseasonably warm weather for March so we turned off the heat and used the beautiful gas fireplace to warm up in the chilly mornings. Our aussie doodle loved the condo too...he knew it was our home for the week!
Beautiful place, loved the decor, bright windows, very comfortable beds and pillows. Cooking in the kitchen was great, lived the gas stove. Heated garage was very nice and great for storing skis and equipment. Only one block to catch the free bus.
Perfect location! Our family enjoyed so many shops and restaurants being a short walk away. The condo was equipped and exactly as described. Great place to stay!
This is such a cozy, clean, and comfortable condo. It has everything you need. It's in a great location with a view of the river. Stephen is an amazing host and responds right away to texts. I will definitely stay here again!

For all of the folks reading the review the property is overlooking the Yampa. Technically it's about sixty feet from the Yampa.
Location was fab, overlooking river and Howlesden Hill. Apartment was spacious and well equipped.. BBQ good too. Had one very cold day/night, but heating sorted quickly with owner. Will be back another day for more Steamboat adventures.

We constructed the entire building and kept one of the best units. We always felt this is one of the best locations in all of Steamboat Springs!
What makes this property unique
Downtown overlooking the Yampa River with unobstructed views. The location is truly the best and awesome for all seasons. Private garage and plenty of parking. Because there are no buildings or bars located across the street, it is much quieter, and you get a great view of the river; but it is a short 2 blocks to the action. We have also filled the unit with mostly local art. We have so many talented artists in town!
