About this property
Lakefront Retreat on Robinson Pond - Stunning Sunrise
Three Trees on Robinson Pond is a three bedroom, one and a half bath home with waterfront access and incredible views of the lake, mountains and sunrise.
This 1950's house was lovingly renovated recently and is comprised of two floors. The 2nd floor has an open kitchen, living room, the master (King), second bedroom (two twin beds) and full bathroom. French doors in the living room open up to a large deck with stunning views of the lake. The 1st floor has the third bedroom (queen bed), half bath, and another living room area. Both the living room and bedroom have views and access out to the lake.
There is a firepit by the lake (smores!), an outdoor shower off the 1st flr, gas grill, charcoal grill, kayaks and canoes. There is also a large yard between the garage and main house that is perfect for lawn games (croquet, petanque, soccer, etc!) or for children to run around and play endlessly.
This two story property can sleep up to a maximum of 6 adults, in beds, comfortably. Parking is available for 2 - 3 cars.
The house is within walking or biking distance to the town of Copake which has a diner, general store, wine shop, etc. and is only a short 25-minute drive in either direction to two of the most charming towns in the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires. The town of Hudson, to the West, has many antique shops, restaurants, and bars and is situated right along the Hudson River. Great Barrington, to the East, is just over the Massachusetts border, is great for families ... there is a movie theater, two toy stores, and one of the largest candy stores around. Fine and casual dining is possible in both towns and along the roads between here and there.
The perfect four season vacation home ... always a way to relax or find adventure all year long.
Spring/Summer – Kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, bike riding, visiting local farms + petting zoos.
Autumn – Possibly the most beautiful time of year with colorful foliage and moderate temperatures … perfect for hiking at Bash Bish Falls or Mount Washington and biking for miles on the Harlem Valley Rail Trail. Bike rentals are available at Bash Bish Bicycle.
Winter - Ice skating on the lake, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and ice-fishing are all possible right on Robinson Pond when it freezes over. Skiing, snowboarding, and tubing are 15-30 minutes away, respectively, at nearby Catamount Ski Area or Ski Butternut.
Aside from all the sports and outdoor activities there are many ways to do nothing at all and simply enjoy relaxing at our lakefront retreat. There is a patio swing, Adirondack chairs, firepit, outdoor seating on the deck and waterfront access with views of the mountains.
For those of you that love outdoor cooking there is a Weber gas grill and a Weber kettle charcoal grill. Our kitchen is stocked with any and all kitchen items you could possibly need to make a feast.
Whether it's a weekend getaway for family, a couple or a small family reunion, or group of friends, you will have an amazing time at Three Trees on Robinson Pond.
Currently accepting weekly rentals only for the July and August 2021 (Fridays to Fridays). Fall/Winter 2021/2022 rentals are also available.
