Start your mornings with a peaceful coffee on the private deck off the primary bedroom, or enjoy a friendly game of ping pong and corn hole when you're ready for a break from the beach. Inside, you'll find elegant furnishings throughout, a fully equipped kitchen, and the convenience of a washer and dryer. With just a short walk to public beach access, The Salty Pelican is the perfect spot for a relaxing coastal escape.

WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not provided. If you would like information on beach equipment rentals, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be provided with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.

PET POLICY:
Dogs are allowed with a $200 + tax non refundable pet fee per dog, with a 3 dog maximum.
Airbnb guests: This fee is NOT included in your final price. Please notify Spectrum Properties once your booking has been confirmed to add this pet fee(s).
VRBO guests: Guests can only add one dog to the reservation. If you are planning to bring more than one dog, please notify Spectrum Properties to add the additional pet fee(s).
Failure to let us know about your pet(s) could result in a $700 fine.

OTHER NOTES:
-No smoking
-For beach access, turn to the right when walking out the door. It is about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the home.

Relaxing well appointed beach rental

This was a great rental with almost everything we needed! Loved the matching cups and bowls and lots of Tupperware…helpful to take snacks to the beach! The only thing missing was an extra blanket in case we got chilly. Loved the two decks! We were there on 4th of July and it was perfect to watch the fireworks!

Perfect beach stay.

The place was perfect for a week at the beach. The kitchen was well stocked. There were beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards for use as well. The only thing we were disappointed with is the back area. It was not maintained and we would have used that area for corn hole etc.

A perfect week in AB

We had a wonderful week at The Salty Pelican and Atlantic Beach! The property was clean and cutely decorated. It definitely had beach vibes! The kitchen had everything you need to make meals for the family. Linens and towels were included, as well as beach chairs, beach toys an umbrella and boogie boards. There was also ping pong, corn hole and some board games and cards. We definitely weren’t bored! We had a tiny incident with one of the mini split systems leaking and the management company was super responsive, they were there and had it fixed in under an hour. The only con, which really did impact our stay at all, was the little back yard area advertised as a sandy spot to play corn hole was overgrown with beach weeds. The beach was a quick 5 minute walk over a sandy path that cuts through the 2nd beach block. The beach was amazing, it’s huge! And the water was warm and there are tons of shells. Atlantic Beach is a perfect location with so much to do close by if you need to get out of the sun for a bit. We recommend: Fort Macon and the surrounding nature trails Beaufort The Maritime Museum Morehead City The Shackleford Banks/Cape Look out Ferry trip Fishtowne Brewery in Beaufort Tight Lines Brewery in Morehead City (beer and food are both delicious!!) Crystal Coast Brewing in AB Atlantic Beach Coffee Company Overall we had a 5 star week in Atlantic Beach and the Salty Pelican!

A great beach getaway!

The Salty Pelican was a great home away from home for my family of 4. We enjoyed how quiet the neighborhood was and the beach wasn’t over crowded. A great location for a family looking to get away from the hustle and bustle! We would highly recommend The Salty Pelican and would definitely stay again.

Perfect Beach Weekend

Staying at The Salty Pelican was perfect! We were in town for a wedding on Memorial Day Weekend and decided to make it a long trip. We felt right at home and the location was perfect for walking to the beach and driving to local restaurants and other activities. We will definitely be keeping this place in mind the next time we go to the beach.

Refrigerator stopped working

Only bad part was we went shopping, and the next day all the meat we bought n other produce went bad. The whole place smelled horrible for a day. The repair man came quick, and fixed the issue temporarily. (Previous issues prior to ours) Other than that we had a very pleasant stay, and enjoy the week.

Very nice property

Everything was very clean and in working condition. The kitchen is fully stocked: from plates, utensils to cleaning supplies. Normally in this kind of rentals you need to bring a lot of stuff like soap, paper towels or dish soap but not this time. Having a ping pong table was a big hit especially because the weather did not cooperate fully. The bedroom were in excellent shape and very comfortable. We had a problem with the refrigerator and the owner contacted me within 10 minutes and the technician was dispatched within 20 minutes! We would like to come back again in the future.

Great property

Property was awesome, new and next to a public path to the beach so it was a 3 minute walk. Kitchen was stocked with dishes, pans, utensils and almost anything one might need to cook or bake, which was a nice surprise. Property was well kept & clean. We would definitely book again.
