The hosts were very helpful with suggestions about the area before we arrived and then in the living room they had several magazines and brochures as well. The coffee bar was well stocked and a nice surprise. The views were spectacular and so many windows to view them from, An amazing oversized tub and a comfy bed made for a fabulous long weekend.

Inside was comfortable and clean. I love it and will be back. The lower deck on the back is beginning to rot. It rained and became slick from algae build up. Same issue on the cement ramp in the front. The chairs outside hadn't been cleaned in a long time.I only mention these things because I can't imagine booking another place on Lake Guntersville. It is gorgeous. The kitchen was amazing. The matresses were so comfortable! If available, I'd give a 4.9! What a wonderful place! Will be back!

We are sorry to hear you do not feel like you had a good enough experience for a five star review. We do try to give our best effort. We have had a lot of rain recently and also a lot of guests, which has been great! However we cannot pressure wash when we have guests there. We appreciate the feedback and we will hopefully have some time very soon in between rain and guests to do some pressure washing. We do hope to have you return again. Safe travels!

I guess I could start by listing what this property didn’t have. That would be nothing! The house itself looked like something out of Southern Living magazine. Expertly decorated inside and neat as a pin. And we absolutely loved the huge deck with the incredible view of Lake Guntersville. We sat out there for hours and just took in all the sights and sounds. We've been to vacation rentals around the country and Rattler Ridge immediately jumped into our Top 3! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful property with us.

Great property with fantastic views of the lake, well stocked coffee bar with snacks, very comfortable beds and firewood available if you wanted to use the fire pit, which we did. Very private with lots of parking. Great stay!

Rattle Ridge was a perfect place for our group to get together. The view from the house was breathtaking. The location was perfect for venturing out for shopping, great food, and sightseeing. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Guntersville area.

This is an excellent rental for a family because the master bedroom and bath are separated from the other two bedrooms by a living room. The host does an outstanding job of supplying little extras to make your stay more enjoyable. It is the best VRBO I have rented.

Early spring fishing!

Located mid lake on the western ridge, this property has a great view of the lake and is close to prime boat launches. Very clean and well decorated and would make a great option for vacation whether fishing or not.

Lance can be found on the lake many days throughout the year. Another passion is college football. Lance is an Alabama fan, and Renee pledges her allegiance to UGA.
