This location is great. we had a problem with the door lock that they were not real anxious to fix (they actually never fixed it), but besides that the place was great. Very clean and a wonderful location.

front door wouldn't lock, sliding door wouldn't close or open. Sheets and mattress was stained. Carpet was disgusting. Called in front door and sliding door everyday for severe safety concerns and threat of being robbed. Never heard anything until day 3 of our stay!!! Only thing good about this place was location, if of course you don't mind the 3 flights of stairs every time you went somewhere.

This condo completely suited the 4 of us and is close to everything surrounding Crested Butte. With both a main level and second level it gave each of us some privacy. Having wi-fi and washer and dryer was a plus.

Crested butte “on the mountain”

We loved our stay! The vicinity to the lifts and village can’t be beat! There were a couple cosmetic things could be repaired but a great place to vacation, kitchen was great had all we needed to cook there and it all worked well!

We really loved the location being so close to the base ski lifts and the transit center to catch the shuttle into town. The interior could use some updating but overall it was a nice stay for our ski group of 6. We would look to stay here again if we were to come back during the ski season.

Great location. 4 flights up but if you’re aware it’s no big deal. Unit has comfortable beds, clean linens, all of the necessary cooking equipment, and good water pressure. It needs lots of TLC. Worn out carpets, needs paint, and is relatively small.

Unfortunately, i willnotbe back to this housr,there is a bit of a smell, The carpets were extremely dirty. The Sheets had cigarette burns in them. It's a very neat layout. Just need some love and a deep clean.

Hot tub was falsely advertised. Online said it was open, sign on gate said open June 1st but June 8th it was still padlocked. Refrigerator was broken costing us hundreds of dollars in groceries. 4th floor stay was not disclosed. Apt. was old and out dated. The bunk beds had broken boards boards and very flimsy. And the place was advised as sleeping 8 but only had 1 parking pass.

Great stay minor maintenance issues

We really enjoyed the condo. There are a few maintenance issues that need to be fixed. We couldn’t get the tv over the fireplace to work, the master balcony screen door is inoperable Unable to lock the front door it can be unlocked by anyone just by pushing the “Schlage” button - no code required Not enough light in upper bedroom only 1 small table lamp kitchen tap doesn’t close fully really great location good beds nice kitchen and bath setup great views fro the balcony. Loved our stay

Never again….

This was the worst stay we’ve had through VRBO. The listing is inaccurate; the refrigerator was out of order (never let us know), they had a small college frig in the living room (which died the first night and we lost all our food), the furniture was old and falling apart, the master bed had old blood stains on the mattress, the screen door on the balcony was completely off and ripped, the carpet was stained and dirty, and the lock for the door wasn’t working properly. The manager has done nothing since we were told we didn’t reach out quick enough, but we reached out as soon as we realized each issue. Would never recommend this place to anyone…….do better!

Washer and drier in condo but could not be used with directions to go into main building and use those. Lock on door not working. Was told to buy batteries to fix it. Even manual key would not lock her door.

Great location but parking situation was terrible

I recommend this property for anyone that is not arriving in their own vehicle during peak times. The parking lot only has about 18-20 spots for what must must be about 30 units and there is no alternative parking. There were no spots available when we got there and I had to park illegally. There is supposed to be above ground parking somewhere but I could not find it. I spent over an hour on hold with Vacasa trying to figure out what to do and they were worthless.

Do Not Stay Here!

Looks great in the pictures, don't be fooled. The moment we walked in the place reeked of pot. We aren't offended by the smell but also weren't looking to get blamed for it after the fact. Various other issues presented over the first 12 hours. Cleanliness and the general state of the property was not good. Crusty carpets, blood spot on one of the sheets, burn mark on the wall, gross smears of unknown substances on walls. Pots and pans are scratched and in need of updating. THE FRIDGE DOESN'T WORK!! Can opener was broken. The bunk beds had broken slats and therefore could not be slept on. Lot's of dings and scratches that would have been so easy to cover with some paint touch ups. Sliding doors were not long for this world. The customer service was atrocious and we are still waiting for a follow-up on a refund on the groceries we lost on account of the broken fridge. Not only will we never stay here again, but we will never trust a Vacasa rental after this experience. They obviously don't hold their owners or cleaners to very high standards.

Not what is advertised

If you are a skier, it’s a good location. They advertise this on the 2nd floor. If you are coming from the lift it is 2 flights up. The problem is you cannot drive to this side. You park with all your stuff at 600 W Gothic and it is 4 flights up. NO elevator. The place was not cleaned well at all. It had not been vacuumed and the rug is worn and stains everywhere. The refrigerator had old opened food in it-chicken, potato salad, and 2 different milks. They advertise a grill-there is NO grill. Vacasa was not very helpful but the local management was great.

A dump in a great location

If you are looking for proximity to the base of Crested Butte - this place is ideal. If you want to stack a max amount of people in an apartment- they have room for 8. That is where the pros end. This place is in serious need of a clean up of all the broken stuff i.e. lamps in closets, broken screens on balcony, broken chair of dining room set, black stains and rippled carpet, master bathroom toilet wakes up condo and neighbors when flushing, broken door on upstairs closet. You have hooks on the wall with missing decor. The cleaning is spotty - we ended up washing all the linen after finding spots and hair on bedding. The dishware is a hit and miss - so we had 3 wine glasses and 6 water glasses, substituted with solo cups to make up the difference to work with and about 20 plates. Bottom line - not sure if mgt company or owners are not paying attention how run down this place is. A few important lessons: the parking for one vehicle needs better definition. There are NO overnight parking alternatives in Crested Butte. We ended up negotiating paid parking with the hotel next door - a stress saver for our second car. There was no parking decal waiting for us, it took a couple of hours to Find the local condo mgt and drive there to get parking sticker. First come for limited parking which is used by anyone since the parking stickers are not enforced. So once you park do not move your car. Bus system is terrific there. Lastly, we reached out to Vacasa by phone on hold for 25 min and then dropped. By email reporting the broken stuff to let them know that we found it this way and still have not heard back. No one ever showed up for bathroom repair. So if you are not sensitive to a run down place and you have a big group to spread the cost over. This is your place.

Great location, poor service

Not great. No parking pass in condo, unable to reach property manager all weekend for parking pass. No comforter on master bedroom bed. Empty and damaged duvet cover in master closet.
