About this property

Great view of the beach from the living area and 2nd bedroom; also from your 2nd floor balcony which is accessed from the living room or bedroom. Ideal for all ages. 2 bedrooms with queen beds. Queen sleeper sofa in living room. Dogs are welcome (limit of 2 and extra charge of $25 per dog for your entire stay. You must bring vaccine records to show to condo reception at check in.)

Condo charges - parking for entire stay. $25.00 + TAX ($27.06). Monthly parking fee is a little more.

The city trolley bus runs the Seawall, Pleasure Pier, downtown Strand area, and Moody Gardens.
If you are bringing your dog, the city of Galveston requires the condo staff verify the vaccines so please bring documentation of your dog's vaccines.

The condos charge $35.00 + tax for parking for your stay.

Please take out the trash & tidy up. Trash pick-up is provided. Trash pick-up times are 11 am and 3 pm. Just leave the bagged trash outside the front door. There are no housekeeping services or extra towels provided during your stay. Please do not leave beach towels hanging on outside rails. It is against condo association rules. There is a fold up wagon for your convenience. Please be sure to return it to the condo before you leave.

Family Beach Get-a-way

Property was adaquate with a few hang=ups: (washer in bedroom / dyer in kit) fold-out bed in liv rm alful, range oven did not work. A very enjoyable stay.

Excellent location - wonderful condo!!!

Really enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony! The condo was very comfortable, pretty beach decorations and really appreciated the washer and dryer! We would like to stay there next time we come back to Galveston!

We truly loved our stay at this condo! Location, location, location! We had outstanding customer service provided by the hosts and great communication. They are super sweet! Roomy condo across from the prettiest beach in Galvy and oh, that view! We can’t wait to stay here again!

Famiky beach trip

We are frequent flyers to By The Sea condos but new to this unit. By the Sea has had a refreshing facelift and renovations are underway. Access to the beach and safe in and out parking is a plus.. The pool area and pool is always clean. The unit we stayed in was well furnished; equipped with basic kitchen items and comfortable. The overall unit was clean Loved having a washer and dryer in the unit and did not have to use the downstairs ones. The property manager was a ccessible promptly responded to all messages. Will be staying here again.

Great Galveston Getaway

Great location! This was right on the Seawall at Babe’s Beach. The condo was clean and had plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 teenage boys. It wasn’t fancy, but fit our needs. The kitchen had what we needed to cook simple meals. The beds were comfortable. The third bed was a futon, which my 19 year old son slept on. He didn’t complain about it, but I doubt I would have been comfortable on it. It would probably be best for kids or teens. Check-in was simple and the desk clerks were friendly and helpful. Access to the beach was very easy; however, there was no crosswalk nearby. If you have small children, crossing the road to get to the beach maybe dangerous. I would definitely go back to this condo.

Bad stay

The property itself was nice, but only 1 tiny elevator working and almost impossible to get on it. Some guest had aggressive dogs, and our neighbors were loud and obnoxious when told to front staff was informed not her problem she just worked there.

Beach getaway

The property was nice. Furnishings were okay. It was clean, but we had to call owner for some soap. There was not any anywhere. The kitchen items were old and mismatched. We used paper instead. Overall nice property, just a bit dated.

Not ready for guest!!!

Condo had not been cleaned when we checked in. 2 hour wait to get in the condo after cleaning. No compensation for delay except offered a late checkout which equates to the amount of time spent waiting on arrival. Owner just kept saying that would refund our money and we could leave. Which would have left us with no where to stay. We had this reservation booked for 2 1/2 months. They did not want to deal with the issues, just wanted to ignore them. I had talked to owner 5 hours before arrival to verify at that everything was all set, and yet place was not ready. Doors would not lock, air did not work well first night, but was fine afterwards. Condo was still dirty, dust bunnies everywhere. windows dirty, distorted the view to the beach. Air mattress had a hole in it, my grandson slept on it and laying on the tile floor as morning came. We had to go buy one for him. Futon in the Livingroom was coming apart and we could not open it. There was an open bag ice in the freezer and a jug of water in the fridge after cleaning crew left. Location was perfect and overlooking the beach was perfect. Price was fair. Just wish everything else would have been nice. Condo building was clean and staff was very nice and helpful, pool was nice. Will not book this place again. Too many choices in the Galveston area to deal with this.

Great Location to Beach

This property was very close to the beach. It was nice waking up and seeing the ocean in the mornings. The furniture pictured in the ad was not what was in the property. The pictures need to be updated to reflect what is currently in the unit. It was clean and the property managers were nice.
