About this property

Spend a night in Jail

**We will begin taking Reservation beginning April 15th due to weather conditions**

Gunslinger Gulch is an 1880s Old West, Mining and Ghost Town located on 52 beautiful acres in SW Montana. The Jail House is a 2 cell unit each with a full size bed, one with additional single bunk, and 2 full bathrooms, each with a full size soaking clawfoot tub.

Cells have privacy curtains for....privacy.

Full homecooked breakfast is included in your stay. Lunch and dinner can be added as an option of visit one of the many fabulous restaurants in town.

Located just a few miles from town, nestled in the Pintler Wilderness area. We have a variety of domestic farm animals as well as our share of wildlife!

Surrounded by several attractions and tons of activities. 15 miles from Georgetown Lake, 25 miles from Butte. Nearby favorites, Discovery Ski Lodge, Hotsprings, Golfing, Museums, Tours, Zipline, Shooting Range. If you need ideas on what to do, please ask. We have a info card in each unit with some amazing ideas.

Primitive old west experience in the jail house

The hosts were very pleasant but some things were things not addressed in the information about the units. Very hot at night. No sir or adequate ventilation, no pool, There were many free ranging animals. Nice petting and gentile for kids. The jail was such a unique experience making a great memory. A one night stay would have been perfect. If you crave unique and memorable. Go for it. Just bring your own fans!!!! Again great memory.

We chose this for a hide away with an outside pool for the ladies as the men played golf.

There was absolutely nothing that fit the description listed on vrbo. No pool, no breakfast, no kitchen available to use. The outside fire ring was surrounded by garbage. Finally set up with chairs the last night we were there.Animals loose walking around wanting in our room if the door was left open. No sitting area in our building to relax or visit. There was a coffe pot in another building with a couple chairs. Broken windows with the glass left where they broke. It all looked really scary. Definitely not a place for children. We had no idea it was advertised as a ghost town.

Fun getaway!

We had a great get away weekend! Not your typical vacation spot, but that's exactly what we wanted. The family was so friendly and knowledgeable about the ghost town and area. It was fun chatting with other guests in the evening and at breakfast. Our log cabin was clean and comfortable. Anaconda is a short drive away for food and supplies. Definitely recommend!

Not good.

Please be aware that this rental is not for everyone. Although Karen seemed to be a very nice person, this property leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot recommend it.
