Amazing time me and my friends had here during the Super Bowl, beautiful views, gorgeous and spacious house. great host communication, all around great trip.
Coming here to spend the holiday with my family was such an amazing experience. We had so much fun and the location was safe and the neighborhood was quiet. Communicating with the property manager was pretty effective.
I had an incredible stay! The host was a quick responder, making communication effortless. The views were absolutely breathtaking—the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Everything was exactly as pictured, and organizing our stay was easy and smooth. We had so much fun and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended!
The house was as advertised in the listing. Michael was very responsive. My friends and family all had a great time. We didn't get to enjoy the outdoors as much because it was so hot and rainy, but there was plenty to enjoy indoors. Would stay here again.

Nice grounds but inside needs work
The property grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed them the evening and morning or our stay. The interior of the house was dirty and seemed like things were thrown together: dead bugs on the windowsills; dirty bathroom floor; pans on the stove; sparse amenities; game tables shoved together.
It's a very spacious house that works well for a group, but there was no sense of welcome or hospitality in the home. I
Our family of 3 generations gathered at this spacious home for a week to reconnect and explore the Hudson valley area. Michael is a great host and extended our experience by giving us a tour of his race horse stables and many young foals. The game room was thoroughly enjoyed by the kids and the surrounding grounds offered plenty of space for activities. The rooms and kitchen were perfect for our 3+ families.
There were a couple of minor issues that Michael was quick to respond to. The one area that can be improved is the overall cleanliness of the property. This is the only reason why we did not leave 5 stars.
The layout of the house is fantastic - it features 6 spacious bedrooms with plenty of comfortable beds and 3 bathrooms, ensuring that we all had privacy when needed. The open-plan living area was ideal for our family hangouts, and the dining space was large enough for our entire crew to enjoy meals together. Amenities:The amenities were top-notch! We loved the fully-equipped kitchen, which made meal prep a breeze. The outdoor area, complete with a fire pit, hot tub, barbecue was a highlight, and we spent many evenings enjoying the fresh air and grilling dinner. The game room provided endless entertainment for the kids with large tv.Location:The location was fantastic as well, with the great view.and privacy. Our host, mike was incredibly accommodating and responsive, providing us all the information we needed for a smooth stay. They even left a welcome basket with snacks which was a thoughtful touch.Overall Experience:This vacation rental exceeded our expectations and made our family gathering truly special. We created unforgettable memories here, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend Mike’s home for anyone looking to host a large group!

We were excited about this property based on the listing: “Ultra Secluded Mountaintop Mansion – Amazing Views, Hot Tub, Arcade.” The views were beautiful, and the location has great potential. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t align with what was advertised. When we arrived well after the scheduled check-in time, the host was still on the property making preparations, and we were informed there was no hot water. Workers were there until Wednesday evening and into midday Thursday, working on the boiler. As a result, the hot tub and showers weren’t usable until midday Thursday—nearly halfway through our stay. This was a major disappointment since those amenities were a primary reason for booking, and the presence of workers impacted our sense of privacy. The house was also not adequately cleaned or stocked. Linens smelled musty and had to be rewashed, dishes and surfaces needed cleaning before use, and basic supplies such as paper towels and tissues were lacking. For a property charging a cleaning fee, we expected a higher level of readiness. While the host was responsive regarding the boiler, there was no follow-up post check-out or compensation (or apology) addressing the broader issues of cleanliness, lack of privacy, and delayed hot water. With more attention to preparation and care, this property could deliver on its potential. As it stands, our stay was stressful and disappointing rather than restorative.

Not an honest representation of property
This was not a good experience. We met the host at check in and noticed that the outside seemed to be neglected. We were instructed to inspect the swingset before we put our grandson on it because he hadn’t looked at it in a long time. The foliage above the hot tub was hanging as were the outdoor lights. The built in grill was not functioning. We are pretty easy going, so we didn’t say anything.
Once inside though we realized the place was absolutely filthy. The floors had dog hair and dust. The inside of the refrigerator/freezers had old coagulated blood, dust and dead bugs. There was stains and old food in the furniture, hanging cobwebs, torn bedding, the decks/furniture/grills were covered in dirt. The hammock pictured had dirt and old leaves in it. The stove hadn’t been properly cleaned in years.
My grandson is not yet one so primarily crawls. There was no way we could set him down in this house. We started doubting if sheets were clean, hot tub water clean, etc. It was not even livable and had been neglected for some time.
The owner insisted he could send 2 people over for “15 minutes” and have everything resolved. That was not humanly possible. It was now 7pm. We had travelled all day. We had no choice but to leave and find another rental. Overall, pretty awful experience. Do not recommend this property.

Retaliatory review : This guest just wanted to cancel the day of their booking (it was a heatwave 99 degrees) , which would have left me empty on my busy season. We have had tons of guests before and after that were extremely happy as you can see in our reviews.
This property is out of this world. I don’t even remember how many beautiful bedrooms it has. This house is the most versatile I have ever seen. Perfect for business retreats and for family get togethers. The outdoors space is spectacular with awesome views and plenty of space. I will be back with 2-3 couples to spend some time in this amazing property!!!

thank you so much sergio , happy you enjoyed my home and cant wait to have you back!
Planned a weekend trip here for a large group, and everyone kept saying over and over how much they loved the place. The view is phenomenal, the fire pit is huge, the hot tub was hot, Mike is an easy-going host, the house is large and had all the amenities we were looking for, and finally, all the important stuff was in working order. The property is large as well with no visible neighbors, so we really felt like we were in our own space. Still, we did need to make sure we weren't too loud outside at night since sound apparently travels to the neighbors down the road, so it wouldn't be a great nighttime outdoor dance party spot, for example, which otherwise it totally would be. Either way, we spent a ton of time using the giant outdoor fire pit, working our way through the large pile of wood Mike kindly left us, and cooking up group meals in the spacious kitchen using the commercial-grade stove and griddle.
The photos are quite accurate, so if you like what you see there, you'll love the place!
My staff and I used this property for a work retreat for the day. It was perfect for what we needed and Mike was really easy to work with. I highly recommend the place.
Our team of co-workers enjoyed almost a week's stay at this amazing home and larger property with excellent accommodation, spacious home and picturesque location in the midst of the natural environment in Upstate New York. Mike was an attentive host and worked with us before and during our stay. We had some challenges with the functioning kitchen stove before arriving on the property, but Mike was quick to provide solutions. As host, Mike checked in throughout our stay and provided timely service. Thanks for everything.
