Classic family log cabin with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths , Hot Tub
Sundance Trail is a classic log cabin, just 5–7 miles from Broken Bow Lake and Beavers Bend State Park. Decorated in Western-style luxury, you’ll know you’ve arrived the moment you see the striking thirty-foot stacked-stone fireplace that towers skyward on the front of the cabin, crowned with an elk skull and rack.
Step inside onto oak floors and into the main living area with its soaring ceilings. This open space connects seamlessly with the dining area, ensuring you never miss a play on the TV while enjoying meals or gatherings. The chef’s kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to prepare your favorite dishes. Accented with a stone floor and stone island, the kitchen opens to the rear of the cabin, making it convenient to serve meals outdoors on the expansive tiered deck. A rustic-cut granite countertop extends into a private island—perfect for breakfast, coffee, or catching up on the day’s adventures.
The main bedrooms are located on the first floor, positioned on opposite sides of the living area for maximum privacy. The primary “Cowboy Room” features a king bed and wood-glass sliding doors that open to serene forest views and provide easy access to the outdoor hot tub. Its ensuite bathroom includes a relaxing jacuzzi tub/shower. The secondary “Indian Room” offers similar space with a bathroom just outside the entry. Both downstairs bedrooms are furnished with dressers and large walk-in closets.
Upstairs, gather with family and friends for games of pool or simply hanging out. The upstairs bedroom features a cedar log bunk bed with a single-over-queen layout and its own full bathroom, making it a great space for kids or additional guests.
Outdoors, a wraparound deck spans three sides of this hilltop retreat, surrounded by tall pines and hardwoods for a true sense of seclusion. Backing up to U.S. Forest land, the property offers unspoiled views of nature and frequent glimpses of wildlife.
Located in the heart of Hochatown, Sundance Trail is just minutes from Broken Bow Lake, the marina, golf, streams, hiking trails, parks, eateries, and Beavers Bend State Park. Once you experience this private slice of paradise, you’ll want to return again and again.

This cabin is located close to everything! Loved hanging out by the fire pit and throwing horse shoes! Great for a family! We enjoyed spending Thanksgiving here!
We and our best friends stayed at the cabin. It was perfect for the 8 of us and really enjoyed disconnecting and Lou going in the hot tub or sitting around the fire pit in a beautiful setting, making s’mores. Highly recommend this spot for family and friends any time of year!

Location is nice but cleanliness was not good
Let’s start with the good things. The location is awesome. Near to everything like restaurants, state park etc. There was enough privacy to enjoy your vacation with family and friends. The fire pit was very nice. The bad part was the bed. In all the three bed rooms there was not enough space to fit 11 people on the bed. So you will end up in sleeping on the floors which we did. In the 2nd floor bedroom the bed cover was strained. It was not clean at all. In the lower level bed room one of the bed was smelling bad. The bed cover was also not clean. The upper level bathroom there were black spots almost through out the wall. I am not sure whether those were moles. The coffee machine was not cleaned properly. So before using it I have to clean that. The phone network connection is poor so you have to rely on wifi. In one case I tried to reach the housekeeping number to check for clean bed sheet but I was not able to do so. After calling the number I was aksed for pin which I was not provided. So if you need any help you have to rely on the VRBO messaging service. There is no way you can reach the numbers listed on the mail.

Sayan, we are sorry if there was any confusion on the sleeping arrangement in this cabin. This is a 3 bedroom cabin with 2 king beds, queen, single and a futon. It sleeps 8-9 comfortably on beds and 11 with a king size air mattress. Broken Bow/ Hochatown is in a rural area with only one Wi-Fi/ Internet provider so we can’t guaranty service in any of our cabins. We clean and sanitize the entire cabin using a 25-point cleaning system and we do have cleaner inspectors who inspect behind our cleaners. If the cabin was not clean to your satisfaction, a text to the cleaner, or management company would have been desirable so we could have resolved any issues during your stay. Our phone numbers are posted several places in the cabin and if the Wi-Fi was not working, as you said, texting is always best in these areas. We are sorry to hear that your stay was less than a 5-Star experienced.
We absolutely loved our stay in Hochatown! The cabin was perfect. We have 6 kids ranging in age from 16 to 6 year old twins. There was plenty of room! It wasn’t too close to other cabins. The peacefulness on the back porch was so nice. Even had deer walking around in back. Perfect locations and wasn’t too far from everything . The closest grocery store was 10 mins away but if you get everything in one trip, it’s no problem at all. We will definitely be back!
The cabin was amazing! The outside view was beautiful! Most peaceful trip I’ve been on yet! Adults and kids has a blast, and none of us wanted to leave!
