HONEYMOON!!!

This place was exactly what we were looking for. Privacy, Ocean Views, Quite, Hot Tub with a view and beach access. We cannot say enough about this place. We spent 5 nights for our honeymoon at the Beasly Beaver. It was very clean and perfect for a romantic getaway or small family retreat. if you are looking for either one, look no further than this. This place deserves more than 5 stars. WE WOULD MOST DEFIANTLY STAY HERE AGAIN.

Cozy House w/ Fantastic view

Great little old school beach house with a spectacular view. Cozy and clean, but kitchen could use some more food prep and serving dishes. The hot tub on the deck was the best idea ever. There is beach access but only if you're comfortable climbing up and down some steep hillside. Luckily there are a few lovely parks and beach access points within minutes of the house. Would definitely book again!

Loved this house

We loved the house and property but the beach access was treacherous - not for the faint of heart - steps about 2/3 down, then a rope and rocks! Only the dog has an easy time with it and our seniors didn’t even try!

Great view from Hot Tub

Spectacular view from the home as well as from the Hot Tub. During our stay it was very secluded and quiet. Newport is a 10 minute drive away for groceries and shopping. The beach access is quite precarious. The home is dog friendly, however the property does not have a fenced area. The interior of the home was clean and accommodating.

Seal Rock ocean view

We had a wonderful time at this Seal Rock house. The view of the ocean from the deck is breathtaking especially sitting in the hot tub. The house is well equipped although the kitchen utensils could use an upgrade, especially the knives. The beds are very comfortable with plenty of linens. The living room is comfortable but would be very much improved with use of the fireplace (was not operational during our stay).

Great View!

The view at this house is stunning! The hot tub was wonderful and the beach access was a plus, although a little difficult if you have someone in your group that is physically limited as some steps are quite steep. We can’t speak to the guest house section as we didn’t use it, but the main house was clean and cozy. The house is located right off 101 but it’s tucked back enough so it doesn’t feel right on the highway. The only downfall for us was that there wasn’t much in the kitchen. I would suggest to anyone who wants to cook their food to bring your own pan and utensils. The only items they have available are Teflon pans and plastic cooking utensils. There are no ziploc bags or foil or even spices, so be sure to bring all that if you need. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to others.

Great location but needs work

This is a decent house with incredible views of one of the most scenic areas on the coast. However, there are a number of issues that need to be addressed, for the safety of your guests as well as your civil liability. These have been reported in prior reviews and have not been fixed. The property is not safe for children, seniors, the disabled or anyone who is not paying attention. There are no grab bars nor non-skid surface in the main bathroom nor are there handrails down the stairs into the living room nor from the back door to the deck, which is extremely slippery when wet. Worse, the “fence” at the foot of the yard, the warning sign partially hidden by grass, and the stairs that descend to the beach are extremely hazardous. The fence consists of a few boards, one of which is partially fallen down, that stands at the edge of the rapidly eroding bluff. I can easily imagine an excited child climbing the fence to get a better look, and taking a dangerous tumble straight down to the beach 50 - 60 feet below. Ditto the stairs. It is definitely *not* an easy walk to the beach as your description suggests. There are a number of other problems that I reported to Vacasa on 10/21/23 but have had no response. This house could be exceptional with some work. Why not invest some money into it now, before someone is seriously injured and you’re forced by the courts to pay? Yes, I would stay here again for the view and because I love Seal Rock, but it won’t be my first choice.

Great location! Comfy beds. Beautiful views and easy access to a great beach. We liked that it was dog friendly, but didn’t like that you could smell past accidents in the bedrooms especially. Also the hot tub was pretty dirty and the foam on one side of the cover was broken. This made it sag into the water and was really challenging to take off and put back on. I spent quite a bit of time sucking out sand an other nasty bits ( hair, bugs) out of the hot tub with the provided manual pump/vacuum. All that said, we are pretty easy to please and it was a great time with our family.

Great Oregon Coast house

A great beach house at a great location! Stairs down to the beach looked like they had been repaired and felt sturdy. We didn't want to carry our beach toys down and up the stairs so we drove to several close nearby beaches. The house had everything we needed, amazing view, nice hot tub! We wished we had brought our binoculars. The beds were the most comfortable beds I've had in a vacation rental.

Eagles & A view!

We had daily visitors of multiple eagles and vultures in the tree above the cottage. It was amazing to watch! Day 1 was partly dry so we ventured down the stairs (74) to the beach. Not too difficult and there is a landing about half way with a bench if you need. Sunset was fantastic from the deck, yard and beach. The cottage was nice for the teens to hang out. If it were not as rainy, we would have used the firepit which was nestled below the bushes so you are protected from the wind. We read prior reviews so were bracing for some things but were pleasantly surprised, we did not find to be an issue. NOTES: The hot tub cover is pretty water logged so its heavy, a colander would be lovely in the kitchen and the driveway will sneak up on you. Overall, it was a wonderful stay - Beach houses take the brunt of the weather so it wont be perfect and you are in a damp environment so it comes with the territory. The sunken living room provided space for everyone to gather and a cute bistro table at the windows to watch the storm over the ocean ..... and observe the eagles :)

Don’t Do It!

The kitchen needs a complete renovation. The condition of the oven/stovetop is atrocious, filthy glass on the oven. The interior of the cabinets and drawers is old and musty. The pots, pans, cooking utensils are in horrible shape, especially the pots and pans. The fridge is in bad shape with the rack in the door completely missing. The blinds on the kitchen window is in poor shape. The bathroom cabinetry is old and musty. There was mold around the caulking of the shower/tub. Bothe toilets are old and need to be updated. The bathroom countertop is old, looks like something out of the 1970’s. The carpets in the bedrooms smell like urine. The sheets on the bed are like sandpaper and the bed was worn put with no back support. The windows in the dining area were filthy which was ashamed since the setting and view is so nice. Two of the windows in the living room were dirty and their seal had been broken with the glass being obstructed by mildew and some type of calcium looking buildup. The hot tub has no lift for the cover and can be difficult/heavy to remove. The hot tub was dirty, with hair and dirt along the sides and sand in the bottom. The owners/management company should be embarrassed to rent this place to the public and should consider removing it from the market and renovating it. As it stands, it appears both are just interested in making as much profit off the home as possible without sinking little to know dollars into improvements.
All the pots/pans look like this.
Doors are in poor shape. Deadbolt on rear door is broken and just spins.
The paint in the home is in poor condition throughout.
This stovetop and oven is just nasty.

Good for the price

Excellent view with great acces to the beach. The only reason i did not give 5 stars is because the hot tub was dirty with sand and pine needles left over from the previous guests. And the neighbors were nosy and liked to blast their music outside.

Best view of Seal Rock

I think this place has the best view of Seal Rock, It was in a quiet location close to Newport to the North and Yachats to the South. Hot Tub was an added bonus and one of the best place to watch the sunset on the West coast is the bench built into the private steps going down to the beach. Saw Eagles at Ona beach and seals in the water around Seal rock.

The view!

This an overall nice property. The view is top notch and a very nice deck with hot tub is golden ticket. Yes there are 70 steps to take down to the beach but we didn’t mind. The beach was beautiful and quiet. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking items but I’m particular so I bring my own cast iron pan. Was glad to see a French press for coffee. Used the propane grill and it was nice. We didn’t use the cottage but went inside and it seemed nice enough. Overall clean, though could use new flooring in bedrooms as carpet was pretty dingy with stains. That being said we’d stay here again!

The house is well appointed and its private access to the beach is why we will be staying here again. Walking to the beach in the morning at low tide to see the seals was a favorite family activity.

Fun getaway

We loved the view! The (70)steps down to the beach are not for the elderly or couples with littles. It was a beautiful location watching the ocean and a nice short distance from attractions. 4 out of 5 stars for the broken front door and the dirty floors. It was a fun getaway for my husband and myself. The hot tub came in quite handy each day.

Family get away

The property was amazing! Views, hot tub and all the windows. Only reason it wasn't 5 stars was that we didn't use 2 if the rooms because dogs before us had peed and there was stains and odors in living room and one bedroom. This isn't a property issue but cleaning and with a deep clean of carpet would be very fun!
