Halpern House - Meredith Lodging

The Halpern House is a lovely, 3 bedroom, 2 and a half bath, Dog Friendly, home in a private neighborhood in Seal Rock. The home is built in "reverse living style", to maximize the view! All the bedrooms are on the main level, and the main living areas are upstairs. Vaulted ceilings and many windows add to tons of light! This home is wonderful for a larger family or several couples, or retreats. Kitchen is great for entertaining, and is open to living room and; dining area. Downstairs primary bedroom has a shower in bath. The two guests bedrooms have a full bathroom to share. Home has a path that leads to a fantastic beach! You'll enjoy the beautiful beach, and shorebirds, and can even walk to Seal Rock when tide is out!

The Halpern House is a very special place. There were many comforts of home and also lots of charming touches. We enjoyed the direct access to a beautiful beach. While the place is not upscale or sleek, it has a magical quality that seeps in with the many thoughtful amenities. It is like being in a treehouse with ocean views. Very quiet and private. We enjoyed our stay.Emma at Meredith properties was very responsive and helpful.

Wonderful Setting

The home was very nice. Very spacious. The location was great. Close to Seal Rock, Newport and Waldport. The crown jewel was the beach. Just a short walk to the tide pools south of Seal Rock. We enjoyed staying there very much.

Beautiful home, easy walk down to a lovely beach

We just stayed one night but would gladly go back on another trip. Very comfortable and plenty of room for our family. We enjoyed the board games and cooking a meal. Nice to have laundry and two showers. Thanks for sharing your lovely beach home!

Excellent Vacation House

Large house for our family of 5. Easy access to beach. Partially obstructed beach view but you can still watch the sun set from the porch. We liked all the books and games to look through.

Idyllic Beach, Lots of Stairs

Recently vacationed at Halpern House with my sister, her beach dog, and my 12-year-old kid. We loved every minute of our trip, especially the quiet, practically deserted beach. We would definitely come back, unless we travel with my parents - too many stairs for them, I’m afraid.

Fun Stay at the Coast

Lovely place and we enjoyed our stay. Spacious house and well stocked kitchen. However, the listing and pictures include a hot tub on the deck which is NOT there. Misleading, took swimsuits for nothing.
