About this property

Historic Downtown Cottage

Live like a local in this quaint, 1930's restored two bedroom house located in historic downtown Astoria. Just steps from the original settlement in the historic district, our cottage is within a few blocks of the Columbia River Maritime Museum, the Heritage Museum, the Ft. George brewery, the Bow Picker and the riverwalk. This cottage features off street parking (a rare find in downtown), laundry and a full kitchen. Park your car and walk to everything.



We are available to respond to guests needs through the app and have also posted phone numbers at the property.

This 1930's cottage is located in Astoria's historic district where a variety of beautifully restored Victorian, Mediterranean, Tudor and Craftsman homes and buildings can be seen.

We offer a secure keyless code entry that will be unique to every booking. We live very close and are available if the need arises. We provide a house manual with suggestions for activities, restaurants and house rules.



Although we accept pets, we charge an additional fee of $20/pet/night (max 2 pets allowed) to accommodate for the additional cleaning required.

Wonderful stay! The space was extremely clean, spacious, charming, and very well stocked. Great walkable location, and we even saw a deer! Neighboring units are close by, so respecting quiet hours and privacy is important. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

This house is exactly what I was looking for. Small old home to experience life in Astoria. Clean area close to restaurants and the docks. We will be back in the future. The house is fully furnished to cook and live .

The cottage was nicely remodeled inside, clean, well appointed and very conveniently located. The front door was a bit hard to open but otherwise all was well. One thing that should be noted is that though the listing said there were 2 bathrooms, there was only one. It is an easy walk to the downtown and waterfront.

LOCATION! This home was perfectly situated. So close to everything! Walked all through Astoria (Love it!) and drove to other places to hike and do fun stuff! We didn't cook but the kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Easy to find. Easy to check in/out. We were really happy with our stay and look forward to coming back and staying again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Fantastic location and home!

We came for a one night stay, and this house and location was excellent. Everything was just as described, we were able to walk a few blocks to dinner downtown, and walked around the neighborhood in the evening. Communication with the host was great, and we’ll stay here again in the future if we can!
