If you want to be walking in Mid-Town this place is fantastic. Close to Cooper and a short hop from downtown. Super clean, and the neighborhood is quiet.
Great location to walk to restaurants and shops. Enjoyed sitting on the porch and seeing all the neighbors walking dogs, pushing strollers, going for runs. Quick drive to Memphis tourist attractions.
Only 1 kitchen towel available for a 5 night stay. Short of bathroom towels also. Two bath towels were stored damp on the shelf. Could not use clothes dryer, handle came off when we tried to dry towels. Not fixed during stay. But house was clean & comfortable. Better communication with host would have been nice.
We stayed here for the St. Jude Half-Marathon and it was a great location --> just a bit out of downtown. The house was clean, decorated well, etc. The host was amazing as well answering my phone call when I was a bit lost on directions. Would stay here again.
Great bungalow with lots of it’s original architectural character lovingly kept intact. The interior is well maintained with updated kitchen and bath as well as outfitted with simple and functional mid century furniture that marry well with the house. Everything there that we could possibly need. Felt safe walking the neighborhood to the Central BBQ recommended on the owners board. As a retired Landscape Architect I found myself itching to work on their yard to reflect the standard they have achieved inside.
The house looks great and was good enough for a one night stay in the Memphis area. Many bars and restaurants are within walking distance making it really convenient if you plan on drinking!

About the host
Hosted by Ryan Schuler
Hi! I'm Ryan- I was born in KY and moved to Memphis in 2012. I love the city, its people and the culture. I live in the Midtown area and we are close to just about everything. My business partner James and I have a few rental homes in the area and we enjoy meeting new people as they travel through the area. I hope you enjoy one of our rentals!
Why they chose this property
I live nearby and love to show off the area and everything that it has to offer. Many times people come to Memphis to see Graceland or Beale Street, and miss out on seeing the other places that make Memphis great. We hope you get to stay in our neighborhood, Cooper-Young, and enjoy the character of the homes and people of this beautiful city.
