This was a gorgeous home equipped with everything you would need. Very clean, beautiful numerous windows overlooking the lake. One of the nicest VRBO’s I’ve ever stayed in. We will rebook for sure!

Well appointed property, nice living spaces but not well maintained or kept up.Leak on a bedroom Leaky toilet in a on suite bedroomDock in poor conditionBalcony off kitchen was dirty and dusty- a 30 min clean with soap and water would be cured this.Broken chair in balcony area off kitchen.Chair cushions and furniture kitchen balcony worn and needing replacement.Front yard was in bad shape.For 3,000 a night would have expected a home in much better shape. We left home cleaner than we found it.

Hi Stan, Thanks so much for taking the time to review our property, and to let me know the items that need attention. When we have back to back rentals in the summer, we are not always told of issues. When guests break things (like a chair) they often try to hide it so they are not charged. To be clear to future guests: the leak in the bedroom is a window caulk that leaked during an intense storm, and not a roof leak. That issue is being repaired immediately. The broken chair (which I was unaware of) has already been replaced. There are no chair cushions on the upper balcony that need replacement. We have replaced 5 chairs in the last 60 days. And the front lawn had been mowed and edged just hours before the arrival of this guest. The charge was no where near $3,000 per night to this guest. We spent more than $55k on the dock (which is fully functional) and retaining wall last year and are already getting quotes for new decking for next year. The interior of the home is cleaned beautifully, but it's done after the guests leave, so in 3-4 days between guest, outdoor spaces do get dusty. My goal is to have the nicest and most well-appointed VRBO on Lake Granbury and from what we have seen, we think we do.

This place had the best view of Lake Granbury that we have seen! The balconies were the most amazing places to have coffee. Really appreciated the almost instant feedback I had with any questions. If I had to think of something that was wrong with the place, it would only be that it had a lot of stairs, but to be expected with such an amazing view!

Family 60th birthday getaway

Great property, secluded from other properties (can’t see the neighbors on either side). Unobstructed views of the lake from multiple decks, even from the master shower. Great getaway, but yet close to town square and amenities. Great to step away as an escape from the rat race we normally live

The house is beautiful and the views can’t be beat. We had 8 people and had enough room for all to enjoy the time on the lake. The dock is a plus if you like boating and fishing.Our only complaint is the ceiling fans don’t work on the two patios (only one does), the lighting on the dock and dock furniture needs some work.

Family Fun and Comfort

We enjoyed the stay at this house with a beautiful view of the lake. The comfort of the rooms and space was perfect for our family needs with several different age kids. Close enough to Granbury square to enjoy but far enough for peace and quiet. The neighborhood was great for walks, even with a stroller! The house had everything we needed and was quiet and comfortable.

Beautiful lake views & spacious home!

We spent three nights enjoying this home. Very spacious and nice floor plan. The decks are great for lake views and watching the sunset or sunrise. Our family enjoyed the seating for watching movies and playing cards as well as the spacious kitchen. We loved waking up to the water each morning.

Quiet Area with Stunning Views

The pictures really don't do the property and views justice. This was a beautiful property with great natural views that is perfect for a family vacation or a get away with friends. The neighborhood is quiet and neighbors are friendly. The host had every starter we needed including a fully stocked kitchen to cook as little or as much as you want. Would certainly stay again

Winner again!

This was our second girlfriend’s getaway at this house. Great place for 8-10 friends! Beautiful views of the lake. Peaceful surroundings. Furnished with everything you’d need for meals at ‘home.’ Easy communication with the owner.

We had been looking for a family gathering spot that will be welcoming for all. Older folks have easy access to the main floor, master bedroom and the upper deck. The young ones will have a blast enjoying the downstairs gameroom and access to the water.
