We enjoyed our stay at Liberty House. We were in the area for a conference in National Harbor, which was only about 10 minutes away by car. In our free time we were able to explore Old Town Alexandria, which was incredibly quaint and had many great options for dining and shopping. The house was charming and beautifully appointed. A definite 5 stars.
If you’re heading to Alexandria, this is the place for you. The home is immaculate and so welcoming. I can’t say enough good things about this property. It’s what every Vrbo should strive to be like. Will absolutely be back.
From the moment I entered, the impeccable condition of the surroundings left me in awe. The attention to detail was evident in every room: Comfortable beds and linens, heated bathroom floor and tasteful design choices with a nod to the surrounding historic town.

Great location, nice place
Perfect location, very close to King Street which is the hub, more than I knew beforehand. Everything worked as advertised. Beds were great, decorations were nice. The only real issue is the check-in by app. It should be stressed more that you MUST have the app and the invite to get the door to unlock. I thought that I could get in with the number code. Then we had no phone number, but fortunately the email was being monitored and we got in after about 10 very frustrating minutes. Front room glass table looks ready to collapse under the next book or magazine.

While we appreciate the positives here, it is absolutely untrue that you MUST have an app to open the door. It is a Yale Assure electronic lock that also accepts codes. So no worries to anyone who isn't tech-savvy, you can always use a code to enter the home. Also, we're not sure why John is claiming he had no phone number, but that is absolutely also available to our guests on their VRBO dashboards, under their host info once a booking is confirmed. Living room table is functional ((: the legs can get loose, but it certainly isn't about to collapse due to any amount of books set onto it!
The location was great, parking easy with guest pass, and the home was very comfortable. Loved the liberty decorated theme. It was easy access to the Mt Vernon bike trail which we enjoyed and we were able to walk to fun restaurants on King Street.
We stayed at the Liberty house over the July 4 th weekend and enjoyed it very much . The house is very close to the waterfront area with lots of landmarks for sightseeing as well as restaurant. The house had everything that we needed for a comfortable, relaxing stay. It is clean, organized, has elegant decor and functional kitchen where we felt at home.
Beautiful house would visit again in a heartbeat!
