Rivertime was the perfect place for our family of 3 generations to gather for a few days. We used all 5 bedrooms (appreciated the extra a/c in the third floor bedroom) and every inch of the living space. The screened-in back porch was an unexpected delight. We ate our meals out there, played games, one of us slept out there one night and we just relaxed.I am a towel person and the ones here were great! The kitchen was beautifully equipped...I have never seen a coffee bean grinder in any other rental we have visited. There was nothing we needed that wasn't provided, along with welcome chocolates! The regular property manager was on vacation so we communicated directly with the owner of the property. She was responsive and helpful. This may seem like a small thing, but we really appreciated the extremely simple-to-use door lock. Put in the numbers (only 4!!) and the door unlocked. No extra buttons, nothing to push once you were in to disable an alarm. Again, we have been at other properties where we have accidentally set off an alarm more than once. This home is very well situated for access to Taylor's Falls main street; shops, restaurants and above all else, coffee! And a two minute drive takes you over the bridge to St Croix Falls, 2 state parks, more shops and restaurants and, yes, coffee. We would certainly come back if life allows!

We had a fabulous time at Riverplace. The home was perfect for our group of six, with room for expansion as our family grows. TF is a great little town, especially with two great state parks and the river at our doorstep. Hosts were responsive and greeted us with chocolates and a sparkling clean, warmly decorated home. Possibly the nicest stay we’ve ever had!

We absolutely were so impressed with this location -- river in front and the little downtown area a block away! We were traveling with our adult children and there was PLENTY of space for the 7 of us -- beds, bathrooms, and chairs. We ate all of our meals in the screened in porch -- so delightful with all of the trees, ferns, and hosta plants.

Such a beautiful home. Lots of space to spread out and that screened in porch was so awesome to be in. We were all very comfortable and happy to be together in this home. The manager made sure before our stay that we knew everything about the house and area. She was wonderful at connecting with us. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!

This property was exactly what we were looking for on vacation. The house was perfect for us 2 families of 4 that traveled together. The screened in porch was a hot spot as well as fishing on the river. Really enjoyed a very relaxing week here! Hope to come back one day!

Summer by the river

This property served all our needs for 8 women who enjoyed the back screened in porch, barbecuing on the grill, mini golf, root beer floats at the drive-in. We plan on coming next year!

Perfect location for our family

Our teenagers' favorite thing was walking across the street for fancy coffee drinks every day. We loved that mini golf, Drive-In Burgers, the river boat, and Interstate Park's visitor center and the glacier potholes trail were all in walking distance. The space was great for us - everyone could spread out as needed, but there was plenty of room for sharing a meal and playing games (loved the well-stocked game closet and card table!) We spotted tons of wildlife near the house, including a family of deer, a woodchuck, chipmunks, red squirrels, and rabbits. It felt like we were truly immersed in nature, especially in the screened-in porch.We also spent a day at Wild Mountain a short drive up the road. It was a great deal for unlimited go karts and the alpine slide. Highly recommend a float trip from Interstate Park down to Osceola.Communication with our hosts was quick and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Location - Had everything you need!

Nice house and great location - right in town with easy walk to DriveIn restaurant and cute coffee shop right out the back door and up to the road. Great location for Wild Mountain or anything around that area. Loved the screened porch! Main level kitchen had everything you need and comfy furniture in the living room. House had two bedrooms with twin beds. One was upstairs but way too hot to use...(not their fault, it was 95 degrees for two days and not a big deal, we didn't need that room). Second set of twin beds in basement with another bath. Second level has 3 bedrooms with queens and nice bathroom. Had everything you need. Especially loved the screened porch. Great hosts and very easy to communicate with! Thanks for the hospitality!

The perfect place for our girls' weekend away

The five of us really enjoyed ourselves. The house is beautiful, roomy, and comfortable, and the kitchen well-stocked. The location right along the St. Croix River and on the main street of Taylors Falls was perfect for us. We plan to return again in the Fall.

Lovely and Peaceful

This is the fourth time that my friends and I have held our annual get-together at this lovely home away from home. In addition to its perks, such as a spacious porch, supplied kitchen, loads of games, and soft towels, the location by the St. Croix River is close to the interstate park, a coffee shop, and cute stores. Communication with the host was friendly and informative. We will be coming back.

Great find!

The property was exactly as expected! Plenty of space for our group of 6 adults and 2 small children. The house was easy to access and very clean! We loved the screened in porch and large dining area. Within walking distance of restaurants and hiking trails. We also enjoyed using the stairs to get down to the river! Definitely a great place to stay!

Wonderful spot!

We came to the area for a wedding and the house was perfect for our stay. We loved the screen porch and the location. It is right in town so we walked to restaurants and mini-golf. But it’s also set off the main street so it’s quiet. Owner/property manager was easy to work with and very accommodating and welcoming!
