Welcome to Whistling Wind Cabin Unit 3 Pet Friendly. Hi Speed Internet 🛜 We are 1 mile from the entrance of RRG. Located In the Rustic Outdoors of the Red River Gorge Geological Area. Close Proximity to Tunnel Ridge/ Koomer Ridge/ Natural Bridge/Muir Valley/ Hollerwood Park/Sky Bridge/ Creation Falls/Rock Bridge

Cabin Unit 3 is 1 of a 4 unit Cabin lodge. Located next door to unit 2 with a shared deck is great for groups staying together but wanting privacy also .Unit 3 is an open concept cabin with main bedroom with handmade full bed with loft with 2 twin beds overlooking. Has a mini kitchen with microwave/toaster/coffee pot/hot plate/utensils. Deck with access to outdoor fire pits and grills. Full bath and shower. Unit has heat and air that you may set to your comfort. Fast & Free wifi Roku Tv.

Pet Friendly
Don’t leave your fur babies behind! Well behaved,
Housebroken dogs are welcome at our place.
Please add your dog to reservation. There is a $50 Pet Fee. You’re responsible for keeping your dog on leash when outdoors and clean up of dog poo.

Also have lot parking for rigs and trailers upon request if needed for local Jeeping and off roading etc.

Everything about this property was perfect for my (young adult/elder teen) kids and I. We especially enjoyed the cozy cabin vibes, and the firepit. I wish I lived there year round, it made life feel simple again for a few days.

Very clean and comfortable. A little small but didn’t spend much time there. Very convenient to everything. Only drawback was dog next door barked constantly until folks came back. Luckily they left.

This is an absolutely lovely cabin!! Everything was clean, and I was happy to find plenty of towels! I did have a minor hiccup right after checking in and locked myself out of the cabin. Thankfully I was able to get in touch with Becky ASAP with another cell phone and i got right back in.I did think this was a single unit cabin, and was surprised when I arrived to see there were 3 other rental units in the same building. This may have been why I believed the cabin would be larger than it was, because of the photos. But, all of the units do have their own outdoor spaces and furniture which is very nice. Overall, this is a very nice rental and would absolutely stay here again

Everything provided nice bath body in bathroom to use to wash my hands, nice body soap provided, 2 waters, 2 ale 8’s little snacks left, This was so nice. I have rented plenty VRBO and Air B&B this was first place ever had nice supplies for use. The host was so nice in helping me get inside bc my husband and I struggle w technology. The host answered very quickly to resolve my getting inside to cabin.

Cabin is well cared for and clean. It's small but designed efficiently and fine for the 2 of us for 2 nights. Location is good for taking advantage of the Red River Gorge attractions with close proximity to the Mountain Parkway.

We did not realize it was multi unit property. The cabin has everything we needed. Perhaps not as private as I expected...Becky was very helpful.The location was good.The parking was not clear. Some people in another property up the road parked in our area, it was not clear to them that area closer to the road outside the fense was the extra parking area. I didn't understand that until later...The cooking utensils were adequate. The grill worked great, and we had a nice campfire. Hiking in the gorge was awesome!We had a great time.

very clean and nice, however, the listing was not accurate. We were looking for something private and somewhat secluded; what we got was basically a room the size of a motel room with four other rooms in the same building right next to each other. Maybe we didn't see that it was described that way, but in my opinion it should be very clear that you will be right next to other people. That wouldn't have been bad, but the walls are so thin, we could hear what was being said and the TV playing in the next room. It got so bad, I had to bang on the wall at 2:30 am to let them know to shut up because we couldn't sleep. We went for relaxation and went home more tired than when we arrived. This is great if you are going to be there just to shower and sleep, otherwise, I would not come here again.

Perfect location for family hikes

This spot might be small but has everything you need. Just minutes from several trailheads, a great coffee and ice cream shop just a mile away, and some great restaurants within 15 minutes.

Great cabin right near the Red

2 night stay and we did hiking in the Red River Gorge for all the daylight hours. Location of cabin is just perfect for accessing the majority of hikes in RRG with little drive time.Nice coffee shop and ice cream just down the road.Excellent hosts were very communicative, no issues at all during our stay. Super clean cabin with no smells, and there was ice in the little freezer. Highly recommended location!!
