We are absolutely shocked at this review and feel compelled to address the inaccuracies. First, your portrayal of the A/C issue does not reflect reality. We alerted you that the AC had an issue while doing our inspection hours before your arrival, and that we already had an AC Technician scheduled to arrive within 1-2 hours of your check-in. He did just that and resolved the HVAC issue by 6pm on your arrival day. There was no argument or issue addressing this crucial matter that we managed proactively. Matter of fact, we thought you were delightful over the phone, which in turn motivated us to provide you a generous guest concession for the 2 hour inconvenience. Your payment system comment has zero accuracy. Regarding the scorpion incident, all visitors to Texas should know it is impossible for ANY home to not have an occasional insect, however, we do have a comprehensive pest control service in place, conducted monthly by ABC Pest Control, to ensure the property remains as pest-free as any home can during a Texas summer. We value all guest feedback and use it to improve our services continually; however, your review is fabricated, deceitful and very hurtful to our small property management company. I want to address a some points you raised in your review. First, regarding the cleanliness of the house, I want to assure future guests that we take great care to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in our home. Our dedicated cleaning team conducts thorough inspections after each cleaning to ensure the property is in top condition. You mentioned "a white substance" in your review. What you left out, is you shared this with us on your 2nd day of your stay and it was then discovered it was baby powder used by your group. Regarding the pool area, I want to clarify that any leaves you noticed were due to the unavoidable consequence of Mother Nature in Austin during April. We do our best to keep the outdoor areas tidy, including pool cleaning & blowing the outdoor areas the morning of guest arrival, but in the month of April leaves are constantly falling despite our efforts, especially during the high winds Austin received during your stay. Lastly, I want to mention that we do have provisions in our guest rental agreement stating that maintenance personnel may be present at the property Mon-Wed’s to ensure everything is in proper working order.
