Luxury Cabin in the Hocking Hills on 10 private acres

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS! We prefer ladies retreats/getaways and family getaways. No all-male/bachelor parties allowed.
No smoking on premises.
Jolly Acres cabin is a gorgeous, custom-built cabin high on a hilltop in the Hocking Hills! We sit on 10 private acres, which is part of my family farm. Enjoy the huge deck with country vistas and the amazing hot tub to soothe your your body after a day of hiking. Our cabin offers 4 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms. We can accommodate up to 10 people maximum. The main floor boasts a master suite with a queen size bed for two with a stunning view, while a second bedroom offers a queen bed for two. The second floor loft offers a second, private master suite with a queen bed for two. A bunk room in the walk-out basement sleeps up to 4 people comfortably in two full-over-full bunk beds.
Please keep in mind, with snow accumulation during winter months, a four-wheel drive vehicle will be required to climb the hill that affords the spectacular view that our beautiful home offers.
(Fun fact: we are actually on the Buckeye Trail! )

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No use of indoor fireplaces March - September. There will be a charge of $300 fee if this occurs. October may allowed depending on the temperature.
*You MUST be 28 years old to rent!* 10 guests MAXIMUM allowed. If more than 10 guests, you will be charged $200 per person, per night
NO FLUSHABLE WIPES allowed!! We will charge the septic pumping fee ($350) if discovered.

Absolutely beautiful home with plenty of space for our family of 8. We enjoyed the hot tub, the gorgeous deck, well-appointed kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms. The location was ideal for exploring Hocking Hills trails, zip lining, shopping, wineries, and restaurants. The host was very responsive and most amenities were provided. This area is mostly more rustic accommodations (camping, cabins, etc) but if you are looking for a luxurious place to stay in Hocking Hills, definitely splurge on Jolly Acres!

Fantastic Getaway

All I can say is "WOW". Michelle the host was amazing and the property did not dissappoint. Lots to do at the property and the amentities were plentiful. Would definitley reccomend and hope to stay again soon!!!

Logan cabin

Great spot for a multi family trip to the hocking hills area. The cabin is well maintained and well equipped- all the things you need for s’mores by the fire, then relax in the spacious hot tub after a day of hiking. The host has an immaculate home that makes you feel like you are the first visitors. She is quick to answer any questions and has excellent recommendations for the area. The kids loved having their own space to sleep and play in the basement. This is a great getaway home to rent for families with pre-teens and teens— plenty to keep them busy!

We stayed here for a wedding we were attending at ash cave. This place has everything and then some. So clean and host was very friendly and replied to questions (before our arrival) immediately. We have zero complaint. Our bed was comfy. House was so clean and so many things supplied by the host. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms wereFully stocked(all four of them)also. She provides so many games(card and board) so many outside games for the kids. The downstairs is a perfect place for the kids. It has a pinball machine, hockey table, ping pong table and the bedroom with the two bunk beds was very spacious. I would 100% stay here again and definitely recommend it.

Hocking Hills Getaway

Beautiful home in a very quiet and peaceful location. Very spacious and comfortable living and dining areas. Great rec room. The large hot tub was perfect after a long day of hiking. Everything was exactly as advertised. Our host was perfect. She was on location when we arrived to let us in and personally explain all we needed to know about the home. During our stay she responded to a couple of questions within minutes. We would definitely book this property again!

Great spot for family/friends

The property was even more beautiful in person. The host provided everything needed to easily utilize the kitchen, grill, fire pit, and hot tub. She was also very friendly and available if needed. It was an easy drive to the Hocking Hills attractions (about 30min). Overall we had a wonderful time!

Great Family Vacation

We had a great time being hosted at this property. Our family was coming in from different parts of the country to meet up for the weekend and everyone left with memories of a lifetime. The house is better than even the pictures looked, it is very warmly decorated and everything that you would normally need has been provided. In addition, the host is as super responsive in answering questions through the VRBO app and made our stay comfortable. We would gladly stay here again.

Great family retreat

We used the property for a family get together and it was a perfect fit for our needs. Fire pit, hot tub, rec room, and open kitchen/dining/living were conducive to hanging out together and you could also retreat to quiet places as well. Large wrap around deck was great too! About 30 minutes for us to hiking trails at Hocking Hills. Thanks!!

NYE Get Away

We had a blast staying at this beautiful property! Michele was a great host and made us feel right at home. She let us arrive a bit early and helped with the ins and outs and was super responsive throughout our stay. We traveled with friends to celebrate new years. Our 6 kids had a blast playing with all the games, going in the hot tub and loved the bunk. Adults also had a blast enjoying time by the fire and relaxing in the hot tub. We enjoyed how close the property was to some great hikes Hocking Hills has to offer as well. Definitely would go back!

Top Notch

This home is beautiful! It is obvious that there was a great deal of thought put into the design and layout of the house. It accommodated our 10 family members more than comfortably. Lots of space for hanging out together as a family (both indoor and outdoor). The location is perfect, as it is so close to Logan, but you still felt as if you were out in the country. Michele was great to work with. I highly recommend staying at this beautiful home!

Perfect accommodations for graduation weekend

Jolly Acres was an ideal place for our family to stay during graduation weekend at nearby Ohio U. Michele was an excellent host - the house was spotless, thoughtfully appointed and perfect for families of all ages, especially with two en suite/master bedrooms. We had two 6 foot (plus) “boys” sharing the bunk room and they said it’s some of the best sleep they’ve ever gotten! Our only regret was we weren’t staying longer (and it rained…a lot); the property was lovely and we weren’t able to take advantage of the hot tub or fire pit. Close to downtown Logan, wineries, and some great food. Would definitely rent this home again if we were staying in the area!

Beautiful cabin ! This weekend trip was a thank you to my son in law who's dying from stage 4 colon cancer . Was nice to have everything he needed on one floor with easy access . Michele is super nice and easy to work with . Cabin is very clean , decorated beautifully, has everything ya need already just pack a bag and go you wont regret it !! ❤

I met Michele at the house and she was kind enough to walk us through a little early since we arrived sooner than planned. The house was immaculate and fully stocked with anything you could possibly need, and all 10 of us girls agreed. Michele told us to reach out to her if there was anything we needed, which was so kind of her to do. The views were amazing and relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day topped it off. We would come back again in a heartbeat.

Jolly Acres Cabin was built to become a family legacy. Grandpa and Grandma purchased this land in the early 1920's, knowing they were going to raise and support their family here. Although this "farm" is no longer an active farm like when grandpa and grandma were alive, grandpa's essence is undoubtedly here. The cabin's name, "Jolly", was grandpa's nickname. He built many of the local homes in this area and was dubbed this name due to his jolly disposition. As his granddaughter, I was blessed to have been influenced by such an amazing, hard-working man. That is why my husband, and I chose to honor him by naming our cabin after him. The land that our amazing home sits on has so many wonderful and precious memories. We hope you love our family home as much as we do.
