Just one block from the French Quarter & two blocks from the Mississippi River, this modern 1bd/1ba apartment is a perfect location to enjoy a fun getaway. Just drop your bags and walk out the door to enjoy the best local artists, chefs, bars & musicians that play late into the night. Also enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river, explore the historic French Market or hop on a streetcar to Canal Street & visit Harrah's Casino, Canal Place & Riverwalk Malls, Aquarium, & numerous dining options.

The Marigny is known for its live event venues, parading in the streets, performers, restaurants, bars, & live music. Located on Frenchmen Street, this newly updated apartment is situated in the heart of it all.

3rd floor apartment with a Balcony, Kitchenette, Queen Bed & Walk-in Shower. Recently updated with a memory foam mattress, Smart TV with Netflix, all new bedding & towels.

The Neighborhood:
The offbeat Marigny district is known for its Cajun bistros, bohemian bars and jazz clubs, especially along Frenchmen Street. Sidewalk musicians and brass bands add a block party vibe to the nighttime Frenchmen Art Market, which sells local artwork and handicrafts. Quieter spots include Washington Square where the lawns are shaded by old oak trees. The Marigny Opera House offers an eclectic program.

This spot is highly walkable but if transportation is needed- Uber/Lyft/Cab, Streetcar, Pedi-cabs & bike rentals are nearby.

Everything went as it should and the vintage accommodations were excellent. I wanted a more authentic experience. Everything was wonderful. I can't walk far so we got to go to lots of places right near Frenchman. Found our favorite club a couple blocks away, but it's all good. We hope to stay there again.

What a great apartment! It was just the right size for me and my wife to stay at. It had a great updated kitchen with a cooktop and microwave right when you entered the apartment. The bed was a good size and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was smaller, but well appointed and met our needs. The living room was a great size with access to a balcony overlooking Frenchmen Street. The location was great as it was right next to great bars and clubs with wonderful restaurants all within a few block’s walk. If you’re sensitive to sounds at night, you might want to bring ear plugs as there can be noise from the clubs, but nothing which personally kept me awake. The proximity to the French Quarter is great as well. Would definitely stay here again when I come back to NOLA.

It was well situated. The view is not optimal as it's not really down Frenchmen street, but overlooking Decatur. The main issue was a persistent musty smell. Not sure why we were asked to rate the winery experience, as that was not applicable to this stay.

Perfect Place for Us!

We love the music on Frenchman St. and we wanted someplace close. Location was perfect. We were only there for a four night stay so we packed light, which was good because we were on the third floor and there is no elevator. Our suite was nice size with a large bedroom, living room, and a balcony. Kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay. Bathroom is small but the shower was nice, and had good water pressure. Only negatives were lack of closet space and dated furniture. We were concerned about the possibility of noise from Frenchman so we brought ear plugs, but never had to use them. We will definitely book this in the future.

The apartment was perfect for our little getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We watched the St. Patrick's parade from our balcony; we were very close to the French Quarter, just a short walk away. Enjoyed walking across the street to enjoy live music and dinner. Perfect location close to everything. It was quiet in our space, which we were worried about before we got there, and we were so pleased it was never an issue. Definitely recommend on your next NOLA visit.
