We appreciate the kind words on how much you appreciated how clean and generous we were with supplies and towels. We are so happy that you loved the master bathroom with its beautiful relaxing tub. Also, that our property manager was very fast to respond to your needs and was kind. We apologize that the dock was not able to be used during your stay. I am confused because we exchanged emails about this before your arrival on March 3rd. You had stated your grandson was a avid fisherman and would he be able to fish somewhere else on the property. You were told that it would not be a problem that he could still fish from the grass areas of the property. You were happy that this would not hinder his fishing during your stay. Unfortunately, because of the hurricane damage to the dock the lights which are a part of the dock was not working and not repaired which was stated in the email exchange on March 3rd. Our garage is a normal garage that fits average vehicles. It is not designed to accommodate very large vehicles. We apologize that this was a disappointment. Also, we have a gate openers to open the gate. We are limited on how many times we can change the code on the gate so due to the security of our property we limit access to this information. We apologize that their was some disappointments during your stay but would love to have you back and work towards making your next stay a 5 star experience.

Thank you for your kind words on how great our property is. Since this guest has stayed with us we have added an additional bathroom to the 4th bedroom. This room now has a bathroom attached to it. We also have finished the basement which is shown in our pictures. The property is 3 stories as well as a carriage house that is separate from the main house. This is all stated in the description. We value our guests opinions and look forward to there return.

The Sarasota Luxury Estate has a strong history of hospitality. Regarding your visit, we apologize that the issues that occurred at the neighboring property (not ours) adversely impacted your stay. However, your bait and switch comment are very misleading as the issues you experienced occurred due to neighbor having some equipment delivered and cutting their trees. We are proud of our team even though the issues you experienced were outside of our control. The Sarasota Luxury Estate was provided exactly as advertised. Our staff also did their best to step in to mitigate your issues with the neighbors while also providing you for the lost food and the inconvenience caused by the construction noise. We also offered to move you to one of our other properties immediately after we knew this happened. You declined this offer. To speak to your stated issues, we have provided the following info: BBQ Gas Tank Issue: We’re sorry to hear about the inconvenience with the BBQ. We routinely check the grill as part of our normal preparation before a guest’s arrival. We always have two extra tanks available at the side of the house. We have checked our call logs and see nothing regarding you having reported this issue. Had we been notified; we would have expedited assistance. It should be noted that regardless of having not been notified to resolve the issue, our team immediately compensated you for the expense of the food lost. Construction Noise: We were not informed about the construction next door until it began. However, after discussing with the construction team, they clarified that the water was only turned off for about 30 minutes, not for an extended period as initially thought. Construction crew mentioned that they gave notice the day before to a lady in the house mentioning the water will be turned off during such and such time next day. We were not aware of any of this. You waited 6 hours after to tell us of the issues with the water. Late-Night Noise: We understand there was some disturbance due to a late-night altercation. While the police were called by the neighbors because of loud fighting late at night, no official report was filed. Mattress Protection: Please be assured that our mattresses are protected with waterproof covers to avoid any stains. Additionally, our housekeeping team is routinely spot checked to ensure compliance with our cleanliness standards. Security Measures: For your safety, we have security cameras installed outside the house only. Our property is in a quiet neighborhood. Having a police officer come is not the norm for this area. Our property was not damaged during your stay. Some tree branches had fallen on our property and the pool ended up with leaves and blown dirt in it. The pool was cleaned immediately after finding out and the tree branches got cleaned up by the construction crew. All of this happened for a day and ½ during your stay and we compensated you for your inconvenience. We are installing a privacy fence so future guests will have the privacy our property had before they removed the trees and bushes.
