Spacious House for Beach Getaway - Outdoor Shower -Beach Pass Included!

From 6/26/26 - 9/12/25 - Saturday to Saturday Rentals Only, otherwise, two night minimum. Feel free to contact me to discuss more.

Just finished - an outdoor shower!

Beautiful, spacious house, just renovated, with plenty of parking! Just 2.8 miles from the beach (parking pass included), perfect for families or a group of friends that want to enjoy the beach and come back to a house to spread out and relax!

House offers a yard, outdoor grill, indoor bar area, and a fully equipped kitchen.

While downstairs, enjoy the 16'x24' living room with 16' ceilings, 55" TV, bar area, and foosball table, while guests relax in the separated den or kitchen. Guests can also go into the finished basement complete with a sectional couch (which contains a pull out bed) to watch TV and/or sleep on one of the two twin beds (trundle bed).

Upstairs, the large master bedroom (one queen bed) shares a deck with Guest Room #1 (two twin beds) that overlooks Ninigret Pond and the Ocean! Guest Room #2 contains one bunk bed. The Master Bathroom has a tiled walk in shower and both guestrooms share a separate bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub.

In addition to the upstairs deck shared by the master and guest room, you will find a large deck that wraps around two sides of the house, perfect to entertain on after a beach day.

Note: this home is located immediately off of Post Road (Route 1), high up on a hill. While you have complete visual privacy, you are able to hear cars as they pass by.

While pillows and blankets are provided, guests are asked to bring their own sheets, pillow cases, and towels. However, I do a fully equipped linen closet; if a guest forgets linens, feel free to use mine but please wash and return.

Perfect for 2 families

We split our stay with another family as we needed accommodations for Family weekend at URI. Everything you need in a home away from Home. Perfect Location to the kids’ house in Westerly. Close to beach and restaurants.

Perfect getaway

Shane was an excellent laid back host who made us feel welcome in his home. The house had everything ee needed for a multi-family beach week. The kitchen had an air fryer, slow cooker and lots of spices and cooking supplies. Had a great time

Perfect weekend getaway

Shane’s home was so cozy and perfect for our weekend getaway. It was well equipped with everything needed for a relaxing weekend away. The location is perfect - secluded enough to feel private and really unplug but still just a short drive to the beach, restaurants, and coffee shop. I highly recommend this home for your next Rhode Island trip!! Shane was very hospitable and easy to communicate with. Check in and checkout could not have been easier.

A Week at the Shore with Family

There were 7 of us for the whole week and 2-3 who joined us on the weekends. We all had a comfortable place to sleep. The AC was much appreciated on the hot days and muggy nights. We spent a lot of time in the shady front yard under the oak tree or at the fire pit at night. Inside we had plenty of space to spread out or gather. The kitchen was well stocked and the laundry convenient to use. We used the beach pass daily and found many things to do locally including archery at Kettle Pond and night sky viewing at Frosty Drew.

the house was great: clean and spacious. the only thing was there's no way anyone could sleep on pull out couch downstairs so uncomfortable so we slept on couch. we were warned about rt 1 but that was a little annoying can't take walks and cars while sitting on deck. but all in all it was a great house.

Perfect Stay in Charlestown RI

We had an amazing stay at Shane’s house. It was a bummer that the previous renter damaged the pool, fortunately my family/friends and I prefer the beach which is less than 2mi away (I recommend getting there at 9:00am/10:00am to make sure you get a parking spot). The house was spotless and Shane even surprised us with a bottle of wine! Plenty of room for us all to spread out and the bar in the living room was really fun. I wish the basement had a half window or some way to circulate the air more (it was a bit stale) but the dehumidifier worked fine. The Hitch & Post restaurant is down the street and is a Charlestown staple. Highly recommend the house, can’t wait to come back next year! If you have a group of people and are looking for a beach house, this is it!

Charlestown Beach House

The house was perfect for a beach getaway! It was bigger than expected and easily fit 10 people. Being right on route 1 was a little tricky, but the location was between 2 great U-turns so this wasn't a problem. Also, the route 1 was quiet at night and we completely forgot it was there. Being only 10 minutes from the town beach and the breachway was great! It was very easy to contact Shane and he is extremely nice. I definitely plan on staying here again!

See potential however, not ready to be rented. Recommend a professional business to clean home as well as pest control for insects. No pool available during our stay.

I graduated Fairfield University '15 (B.S.) and got my Master's in Accounting '16. My family is from a small town outside of Boston, so after I finished school, I returned home and now work as an auditor for PwC (our Boston office). I grew up spending summers at my grandmother's house in Charlestown, RI and love the area. As my grandmother would say, it's the 'best kept secret!'

I purchased this house during the winter of 2021 and my dad completely renovated it (doors, trim, carpet, paint, etc).

Fun facts: I studied abroad in Galway, Ireland for year and have been back 15 times, I'm an avid runner, and have gone sky diving twice.
