We booked a large group of friends for a stay in March. The off season price point was just what we were looking for. The Lighthouse is huge! Everyone got a good night sleep, early birds and night owls included. Winter and spring were battling it out. We saw all the ice melt, turkey and deer tracks in the sand, and beautiful sun/moon rises during our stay.
If you’re looking for a big group or multi family destination, book it!
Thanks for everything Emily,
Andy

Great house to spend time with a large group of friends.
We were a group of eight friends who gather once a year for a reunion weekend. This house had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen is well stocked and there are enough beds for a large group. The game room and projection screen TV offered a lot of entertainment options. We were here in the winter so we did not have the chance to take advantage of the beautiful outdoor space or the lakefront, but it was close to skiing and hiking trails.

Nice Door County Getaway
If you’re looking for a nice nature-oriented get away this is a great place. The town is very close so you’re not too isolated and there are many activities you can partake in at the house. The beach is beautiful and so is the home.
Easy check-in process, clean, plenty of bedrooms and fun activities for the kids. Loved the basement eating area, which could accomodate our group of 10 with eqse.
We stayed here for a long weekend whole family get together. Although the house is starting to show some wear, the size is perfect, with enough beds/bedrooms for everyone. The appliances in the kitchen have been updated. Two ovens, two sinks, and two dishwashers made meal preparation a breeze. The location on the water is gorgeous. We loved being able to look out over the lake all day long, especially beautiful in the morning. We didn't get a chance to take the kayaks out because the water was a little to rough, but it's nice to have the option. The hosts were friendly and responsive.

Great Place for a Family Gathering
Our family enjoyed our gathering at The Lighthouse. We loved the space, the activities available, and the location!
The scenery was beautiful. Grandkids really enjoyed the beach. Nice and relaxing for our children and us to connect and enjoy. Rainy one day and the activities in the basement were wonderful. Big enough for all 21 of us. Just a joy to have all our children and grandchildren all together yet could be by yourself
Big house, great property. Somewhat outdated. Ton of mosquitoes

Out of all the amazing places in Door County to choose from, thank you for choosing Lighthouse for your group vacation! I'm so happy you guys made good use of all the adventure amenities and activities provided!
Beautiful home with lots of space. Shed was filled with bikes, wagons, basketballs, golf clubs, helmets, stroller, kayaks, life jackets and so much more. Basement game room was great and lots for kids to do. We had 10 adults and 9 grandkids aging from 10 to 1 year old. Kids had fun playing in the sand. Cabinets were filled with toys and supplies to paint rocks. Great place.

Great place for our men's retreat
We had a men's group retreat and the place was great. Communication was good prior to and after the event. The facilities were as advertised and it was a pleasure staying there. Would recommend and plan to stay again next year.
We had a great time. There was plenty to do to keep us busy, and plenty of space! Very pretty area and views of the lake. Definitely worth it to go out in the "off season", like we did. The area is much less busy and it's a gorgeous place to stay at any time of the year.
