Oceanfront well-stocked home 20 ft from the ocean to relax and recharge

E komo mai! This beautiful Pikake unit is located in West Maui close to many amenities and beaches. We recently purchased this unit because of the many happy memories we have built with our family here. We hope you will create memorable experiences there as well!

This corner unit is located on the 2nd floor and has an unobstructed direct ocean view. Walk down the stairs and directly only a small sandy ocean beach. Sea turtles can frequently be seen sunbathing on the sandy shore. Swim, snorkel, and play in the sand right outside your property without the hassle of long distance walking or driving. Waters are usually very calm and great for kids. Take in the daytime panoramic beauty of the seashore, the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i, sailboats, and whales breaching (December - March) in the distance directly from your lanai. Absorb the breathtaking magic of the unparalleled sunsets while sipping on a cocktail or a West Maui coffee.

We have stayed at the Pikake property a few previous times in other units. The Pikake is by far our favorite place to stay and we look forward to many more visits. We booked 3 separate Pikake units for our stay 10/2 through 10/10 to accommodate our adult children and had a wonderful time. We look forward to our next stay at the Pikake. Our Favorite Spot

This was our second stay at Gitel's Place & we enjoyed it immensely both times. We love that there is no AC & that there are louvred windows on 3 sides to feel the ocean breeze & hear the waves all the way through the condo. Being on the second floors gives a great view of sunsets & sea life. The turtles feed on the rocks right in front & swim by every day. And this year we even had some sting rays visit. The condo is well equipped and so comfortable. Filip is so communicative & responsive! It really is our favorite place!

Relaxation on Maui

The property is just as is pictured. It was so nice to stay at a smaller condo complex and having a beach just steps from the condo was so wonderful! Turtles would come everyday to eat off the rocks right in front of the condo and several times we saw spinner dolphins. We enjoyed our time there and would certainly stay there again.

A perfect place to stay while vacationing in Maui

From enjoying our morning coffee overlooking the ocean to watching the magical sunsets every night, we could not have picked a better place. The location made a great home base while out seeing the sights, and it was perfect for walking downstairs to jump into the ocean for swim or snorkel (amazing fish and sea turtles 20 feet off shore). Also worth noting the place is clean and well stocked, Hopefully, we can make it back soon…

Absolutely Amazing!!

This vacation rental was absolutely perfect. Excellent location, amazing ocean view, beach access, and many shops and restaurants nearby. Very easy check in and checkout process and Fillip was very kind and checked in to make sure everything went smoothly. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, well stocked condo

This is the first place we have stayed on Maui where we almost never left the property during the week we were there. Beautiful beach, good snorkeling and whale watching. The condo was well taken care of ( we loved the recliners) and we'll stocked. It was comfortable even without air conditioning. We would love to come back for a longer visit.

Absolutely Lovely

Charming beach front condo with amazing views. Views include scenic skylines, multiple wildlife, and calming waves from the lanai or on the beach. Condo was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. Walking distance to groceries and food. We’re already making plans to come back next year and make this an annual tradition.

Great location!

The property was just as described, right on the beach with beautiful sunsets to enjoy! We did see a turtle, too! Beds (including the couch bed) were comfortable and even though no ac, we were very comfortable with the windows and fan. Having a corner unit was awesome! Finding the property was easy and it had nearly everything we needed. Communication with the host was great too, very responsive and fast. We hope to return!

What a gem!

We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The views from the condo can’t be beat, the condo itself was very clean and comfortable, had everything you could possibly want on a beach vacation, and the town of Honokowai itself was super cute! The condo is even better than what’s shown in the pics and the whole experience at the Pikake was amazing. We enjoyed meeting a few neighbors and listening to the daily conch shell ceremony at sunset. Thank you Filipp!! Life batteries are recharged, in large part due to the condo being a wonderful respite after our daily Maui adventures!

Magical place

Gitel's Place at the Pikake is an amazing place to stay. The property is beautifully maintained and fully equipped. It's right on the water so we enjoyed the ocean breeze, sounds of the ocean, and easy access to snorkeling, swimming, and relaxing by the water. Being on the second floor corner gives an amazing view! We loved sitting on the balcony to enjoy the view as we relaxed, read, & ate. We saw turtles every day as they fed on & around the rocks right in front of us. Swimming & snorkeling right off our beach was so lovely! Being the corner unit also allows for louvred windows on 3 sides so the condo stays pleasantly cool. We loved that we had fresh air & breezes rather than AC. We were so sad to leave & can't wait to go back.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this clean and safe oceanfront condo. The location is fabulous! The beach is great, better than a pool! From the balcony, we saw whales breaching (condo also has binoculars so that was even better!) and a sea turtle decided to come up on the sandy beach. Condo is well-stocked, has everything you need. We liked all the labels, which keeps things neat and organized. It really is like a home away from home. Ocean breezes kept the condo cool at night, no need for A/C. The tips that Fillip has are great. There are many good eating options within walking distance (food truck park, Papi's Ohana- really good cinnamon rolls, Miss Arepa).

A Hidden Gem!

We absolutely loved our stay and it was perfect for traveling with 2 younger kids. The unit had everything we needed from a pack n' play to a high chair, so we didn't need to bring that stuff with us! The beach was also very kid friendly. The park next door, was easy to walk to and also had a good, calm spot for kids. We grew up staying in Napili and this was a much better spot for young families and was so quiet! We saw a sea turtle one day on the beach and the whales jumping and showing off were non-stop. There was also a well stocked first aid kit, which came in handy when our daughter bonked her head. Filipp was so kind and had great communication! This will be our new spot to stay the next time we come back!

Stay here!

This was our first time in Hawaii and this was the PERFECT place for us. I am not a fan of big resorts or crowded areas, this place has the perfect amount of neighbors that were friendly and familiar for our stay. This place was perfect. You have a nice little beach in front so you really don’t need to leave if you don’t want to, we were able to swim and snorkel right out front! The balcony is a great place to watch the sunset and turtles. We fell asleep at night with the breeze and sounds of the ocean. The space was perfect for what we needed, plenty of storage for all of our stuff. The only con? We had to leave! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The hosts were extremely responsive and quick as well as helpful. I really can’t say anything negative, it was amazing from every standpoint. Don’t hesitate to book, You won’t be disappointed!

Great Experience

The condo was wonderful for our 10 day stay in Maui. The condo was very clean, in great condition, the bed was comfortable (I have back problems) and had everything we needed. The location is wonderful and walking distance to stores, restaurants, local food trucks, etc. Filipp was quick to respond to texts re: a few questions we had about check in, gate codes, mail etc. There was plenty of fresh towels for the bath and beach. We spent lots of time watching and listening to the ocean from the lanai or the recliners, and spent time on the beach right in front of the condo. We did not need ac as there are plenty of ceiling fans and louvered windows. This is an end unit which made for even more windows for air and light. We would highly recommend this for a couple or a couple with one child.
