Finnish hut with terrace

The detached Finn cottage is modernly furnished. The domicile is also popular due to its quiet and secluded hillside location on the edge of the forest. Available for shared use are: sunbathing lawn, children's playground, swing, barbecue area, garden furniture, and campfire site.


Location
Saint Kilian, 490 m above sea level. The Finn cabin is located on a 6000 sqm open plot with meadow. The landlord does not live in the house or on the property. Natural plot with 7 Finn cabins. The property is located in the Thuringian Forest Nature Park near the Vessertal Biosphere Reserve. View into nature. Access is via a field or forest path (unpaved, length 100 m). In winter, snow chains are recommended. Parking (for 10 cars) on the property and a parking space in the village (distance 200 m). Use of the central parking lot in the village only in winter with heavy snow.

Ausgefallender Urlaub

Der Urlaub konnten wir nicht antreten. Das Objekt konnte nicht beheizt werden und entsprach in keinster Weise dem Angebot. Ein Lösung mit dem Vermieter vor Ort war ebenfalls nicht möglich. Wir mussten den Urlaub mit unserem Kind aufgrund dieser massiven Problemen abbrechen und kurz nach Ankunft wieder nach Hause fahren.

Super ruhig, schöne Lage und die Finnhütte hat alles was man benötigt. Für Ausflüge und den Einkauf wird ein Auto benötigt, da vor Ort außer Wald nichts ist.

Tolle Lage, aber Anlage muss dringend in Schuss gebracht werden

Wer die Natur liebt ist von der Lage des Hauses begeistert. Das ist aber leider schon das einzig Positive. Ferienhaus: Ein persönlicher Empfang war nicht gegeben. Beim Eintreten in das Haus kam einem ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch entgegen der auch die Tage nicht besser wurde, vermutlich von der Elektroheizung. Alle Sachen stanken selbst zuhause noch und landeten direkt in der Waschmaschine. Auch die Sauberkeit ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig. Das man in der Natur Fliegen, Spinnen und Dreck nicht ausschließen kann ist für uns selbstverständlich, aber Eireste vom Vormieter an den Eierbechern, Mäusekot in der Schublade vom Backofen, dicke Staubschichten z.B. auf dem Feuerlöscher sind für uns sehr bedenklich. Ebenfalls könnte in die Ausstattung der Küche investiert werden (z.B. wollte man in den Pfannen nicht gerne Lebensmittel zubereiten). Außenanlagen: Die in der Anzeige beschriebene Grillmöglichkeit und den Spielplatz suchten wir hier leider vergebens. Lediglich eine Tischtennisplatte und eine „abenteuerliche“ Schaukel war vorhanden, allerdings so hoch, dass der siebenjährige Sohn hier nicht alleine draufkam. Wenn mal im Dunkeln zum Haus kam, wurde es schon gefährlich. Keine der angebrachten Außenbeleuchtungen funktionierte und man konnte sich nur mit Taschenlampe den Weg suchen, der dazu noch in einem sehr schlechten Zustand mit vielen Stolperkanten ist. Das hier noch nichts Schlimmeres passiert ist grenzt eigentlich an ein Wunder.

Die Umgebung war sehr schön. Der Hohlweg zu den Finnhütten ist kreuzgefährlich und müßte unbedingt sicher und fahrtauglich gemacht werden. Die Beleuchtung im Gelände hat gänzlich gefehlt, große Gefahrenquelle, da die Plattenwege teilweise wackelig bzw. kaputt sind.

Schöne Auszeit

Ein kleiner Ausflug in die Vergangenheit. Urlaub wie früher... Ruhige Lage und Haus ausreichend, um ein Paar Tage Auszeit zu nehmen. Vermieter sehr nett, mitten in der Natur ohne viel Schnick Schnack.
