Spacious cottage, well located in southern Iceland. The cottage is near Hekla, Landmannalaugar, Þjófafoss, Fossabrekkur, Gjáin, Hjálparfoss, Fjallabakur, and many more famous places. Only 20 min drive from Hella and the main road. In the winter there is a possibility to see the famous northern lights. We're on Google Maps: Search for "Afternoon Cottages".

Cozy cottage surrounded by lovely nature. You have almost everything you need in this cottage. It's just like a studio apartment. Well-equipped kitchen with a small fridge, 2 elements ceramic cooktop, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, and all the necessary kitchenware. You can use all the coffee and tea you need.

Large bed for two people, 43" TV on the wall to watch Netflix or the local TV station (RÚV). Duvets and duvet cover and a sheet on the bed will be ready. Two cozy armchairs for chilling. The dining table can be upsized (doubled) if you have friends staying in the other houses to have a meal with you or just chat over a cup of coffee.

Private bathroom with a toilet, shower, and a nice lighting mirror over a sink. Towels are included. Hand- and bath soap is ready to be used.

Found part of my soul in Iceland

Incredible place to getaway from it all. I was there for the Rift Gravel Race and it’s right on the course around mile marker 95. Definitely hope to be able to visit again.

Lovely secluded

Lovely cabin :well appointed: comfortable bed. But long drive from town 28km and half of it is (currently) a gravel road. It’s a beautiful place. We walked across field to waterfall. Views of the volcano. Nice respite but know you have a drive from the highway/town

One enjoyable night

Quiet privacy and well-located for a south coast visit. The tiny home studio was clean and equipped with coffee and tea so bring sugar and creamers if you want them. Beautiful beautiful view, waterfall in the distance, of unit 6 with no other units in the way. Would recommend!
