Great little cabin. cute decor. Extras (wine, snacks) were unexpected and welcome treat. Plenty of towels and kitchenette nicely equipped. Hope to return again sometime.
We LOVE staying here! Perfect distance from home, away but not too far. And the best balance of cabin and camping with all comforts to rest, but grilling and hanging outside. Already looking forward to our next weekend away!
The property provided my new husband and I am amazing honeymoon experience. It was wonderful! The hot tub was a little hard to get into, as I'm a bigger person, but it was still enjoyable, nonetheless!
This was our second stay at this cabin. Very comfy and relaxing. This time we ventured out some and found an amazing Amish bakery and went to see the Serpent Mound. Highly recommend for a couple getaway!
This was a beautiful place to stay. Very clean and the host was easy to communicate with. It was a cozy place to spend the weekend with my husband. Enjoyed hiking Fort Hill and being out in the woods.

This place is amazing if your looking to get away from everything but who your with this is the place. It’s out of a Norman Rockwell painting the log cabin interior to the recurring bear theme. The bed is super comfortable hot tub grill and snacks round out the welcome home feel. We will definitely stay again.
The cabin was very clean! The bears where a great little touch!! Paula thought of everything for are stay!! From a bottle of wine to relax , to the coffee and cups in the morning. To wood for the fire pit and the fire starter to make the fire!!
Cabin was clean and exactly as described. I echo what other reviewers have said about the barking dogs disturbing the peace—it sounds like a bunch of junkyard dogs next door. Also have to mention the bizarre reading material about women being created to submit to their husbands that was left on the night stand, which we just found strange and off putting . Outside of that it was lovely.
Clean, comfortable, great amenities, excellent stay. It's small but well-laid out and nicely decorated. No oven but has a microwave, toaster, well stocked with snacks, wine, and coffee supplies. Feels secluded, even though it's conveniently close to town. Pleasant deck with hot tub and fire pit and breakfast table, facing the woods. The shower is a bit tight and the bathroom door (folding door with slats) doesn't give much privacy. TV reception is limited but we didn't use it much and had a Roku stick for movies. Would be nice to add shower soap and a hair dryer. But overall, a great value!
Oh my goodness! This cabin was perfect! Paula had every detail covered! She even gifted us with my favorite wine! How did she know?? ;) Yes, there are hunting dogs that bark a lot, but we didn't mind. You can't hear them in the cabin anyway. The decorations were the cutest and the bed was so comfortable! We had a great time exploring the area and picked up some unique gifts and antiques! It couldn't have been more perfect for an anniversary getaway for two! Thank you Paula! We will definitely be back!!!!
We were impressed from the second we pulled in. The cabin is adorable and comfortable. You can’t help but be relaxed here. The best testament of this place I could give is we are two older women. If we’re not on our jobs, we are on our telephones, playing games, scrolling, or watching television. The entire time we were in this cabin, we didn’t even turn the TV on and only picked up our phones to see what time it was. every second was spent either on the deck in front of the fire or in the hot tub. We will definitely be back! And Paula, complements to you. We loved your communications, and how easy it is to get a hold of you if needed. You actually respond to your tenants when they reach out to you. Thank you for that.
Checking instructions were clear. Cabin was neat and clean. We really enjoyed the area - lots of great restaurants and hiking trails. Would love to visit again.
Soer clean! Loved all the special touches & attention to details. Thanks for a great weekend

Disliked: Location
Cabin in the woods.
Not my cup of tea. No Wi-Fi no tv reception. Bugs (stink bugs) found their way in the cabin everyday. Also a couple earth worms and honey bees. They didn’t come in the door. Lots of carpenter bees outside so sitting on the deck was not possible.
