Nice large home for our family to stay for a wedding. It was a quick drive to downtown Annapolis! It was also very peaceful on the porch as well by the fire pit.
This house was perfect for our large family get-together. We especially loved the large porch and outdoor area. The bunk room was perfect for the grandkids. It’s an excellent location for visiting all of the wonderful things to do in the Annapolis area.
A little slice of heaven right next to the water. The property is beautiful, the house is comfy, and the family had a blast outside (especially with the deck and fire pit). We had a wonderful stay.
We stayed with family joining us for commission week . It was an incredible experience . This property is very well located , 15min from downtown Annapolis and from the Naval Academy.Rooms are very big . The house count with plenty amenities to entertain your family, Highly recommended
We enjoyed the layout of the house and its great location close to Annapolis and DC attractions. We had a large group of 11 adults and there were lots of rooms, a back porch and fire pit area to spend time with family or alone. We also loved the small community dock and views of the water close by. There were a few things around the house that needed fixing, but overall we had an excellent time!
Vince's place in Arundel on the Bay is a great place for a family to gather and reconnect!
The house is beautiful with a plenty of gathering space as the kitchen, dining and living room flow together. It was very clean and comfortable and family friendly complete with plastic dinnerware, kids books and lots of game. There was a dock right close by where we were able to launch our kayaks and canoes and the paddle out to the lighthouse was a lot of fun for the older "kids."
The house was large and on a dock, which was lovely. Check in was east and everything was clean. Parking is a little lacking but the property manager was up front about that and we were able to prepare properly.
Home was very comfortable for our family of 8. Neighborhood was quiet, safe, and great for walking/running. Kitchen supplies were plentiful. Children enjoyed toys, book collection and golf arcade game. Owner was very responsive to text messages. We enjoyed our stay very much.
We rented this house for a family reunion to celebrate a 75th birthday. Everyone was over the age of 70 and the layout of the house was perfect especially the bed situation. We used the fire pit and took numerous tours of different areas in Annapolis. The location of the house is a plus as grocery stores and pharmacies are close by. I would highly recommend this home for large gatherings.
This was a great place to stay for the 8 of us who came for our sons graduation from Annapolis Naval Academy. Clean home, good communication. There were a few things that could be fixed such as a wobbly railing on the stairs outside. But overall a nice home to gather in. I would highly recommend it!
House is really nice - spacious and nice for big groups with kids. But it wasn’t as clean as we expected based on previous reviews and some things could use some upgrading. There was a musty smell and the rugs and carpets need to be washed. The water or drains had a bit of a sewage smell (maybe it’s well water, not sure). Parking was a little tricky with more than 2 cars, but workable. The two king beds were very comfortable (although the master bedroom didn’t have blinds), but the queen bed wasn’t comfortable at all. The kids’ room with the bunk beds was really nice. The owner was responsive - sent an electrician out to fix the broken switch in the dining area the day after we arrived. But there were more than a few lightbulbs that were out and we had to replace those ourselves. There was a washer and dryer, which was nice. But the washer is very old, very loud and makes the whole house shake when it spins. Kitchen had nice appliances and was stocked with lots of cookware, so it was easy to cook for our large group. Overall, it’s a nice house and we would stay again after a deep clean and some upgrading.
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property with our family, and it exceeded all our expectations! The house is incredibly spacious, providing ample room for everyone to relax and unwind.
The living and dining room spaces were particularly impressive. The open layout made it easy for the whole family to come together, whether it was for a delicious homemade meal or to watch the football games.
The kitchen was a highlight for us. It was well-stocked with a variety of dishes, pots, pans, and all the utensils we needed to prepare and enjoy meals together. This was especially convenient for us to stay in and cook, adding a touch of convenience to our stay.
Overall, our stay was fantastic. The combination of spacious living areas, a well-stocked kitchen, a fun game room, and comfortable beds made it the perfect choice for our family getaway. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a homey and enjoyable vacation experience. Many thanks to the hosts for providing such a memorable stay!
Our family loved this home. The proximity to downtown Annapolis as well as DC was nice. There were plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby and the neighborhood was nice. My kids enjoyed watching the sun set every evening from the end of the road. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. I do wish there were more of a few basic items. There were 2 dishessher tabs for a 7 day stay and no dish soap. There was one kitchen towel and no wash rags or sponges. The paper towel roll was close to empty and there were no extras. It made it nearly impossible to do simple tasks like clean out the sink or wipe off the countertop.
We enjoyed our stay with extended family at the Arundel on the Bay house. We found the house to be very clean and stocked with plenty of dishes and cooking items. Plenty of seating for our party of nine both in the living room, kitchen, and dining areas. We found all the beds to be comfortable including bunk beds and office bonus bed. All the appliances were clean and worked great. Location was very peaceful and quiet. We saw deer and foxes in the neighborhood. We would rent again!
We had a group of 9 guys plus a Newfoundland dog and we had a blast. The neighborhood is quiet but you can still have fun and hang outside. We brought kayaks and bikes which were great to have with the water so close. Downtown Annapolis was a 15 minute uber bur well worth it. Try the Iron Rooster for an awesome breakfast.
We really enjoyed our time. Home was great, near the water and in a very quiet neighborhood. Annapolis was close by and we went into town twice. Vince and I communicated often by email and text. He was always prompt and helpful.
Thanks! We really enjoyed our time at Arundel on the Bay.
Clean and well maintained property near the water and away from the crowds, traffic and noise of downtown Annapolis. Easy 10-15 minute drive to downtown and USNA. Property had everything as posted. The only amenity missing is an ice maker, but there is a huge freezer with several ice trays available. We bought a couple bags of ice that easily fit in the freezer and provided more than enough ice for eleven people for our three night stay. Parking may be an issue, though we had five cars strategically situated one evening of our stay when we had additional friends and family visit. I would definitely rent this property again.
A little bit of a drive to Annapolis proper and downtown, but a nice, quiet location with a large yard and fire pit (needs ashes cleaned out). House was great and comfortable and accurate to the description; one zone air conditioning worked okay but during the day it was warm upstairs; could have used more toilet paper, but overall, well stocked, clean and plenty of everything we needed. Highly recommend.
