We love to hear when guests tell us they enjoyed their time at the cabin, and are happy this was the case for your stay also! We also love the quiet and peaceful surroundings. We would be honored to host you again.
The hosts Scott and Sherri are always so welcoming. This is the third time my wife and I have stayed in this cabin. It feels like home away from home. Scott and Sherri always reach out to make sure everything is to our liking and to see if we need anything.

Thank you so much for your visit and your kind review! The best review and affirmation that we are doing things correctly are return visits; the fact that you have stayed 3 times is an amazing testimony to that and we are truly grateful.
Arguably one of the best places we’ve stayed. It was cozy and inviting, and was perfect for a couple. We will be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a truly amazing place like this.

We are thrilled you had an amazing time. We love our housekeeper and will pass along your compliments about the cleanliness. Thanks again for staying with us.
The house is absolutely beautiful. The hosts are super nice. The bed is super firm and so comfortable. The roads are just as the host described, very steep, kind of small, but worth the drive for such a secluded and quiet place.

Thank you so much for your gracious review, and we are thrilled you had such a good time at the cabin.
The cabin was well appointed in all areas including the kitchen. It was clean and very comfortable. The gas fireplace was cozy and the pool table provided great entertainment. The new charcoal grill delivered an excellent steak. The owner’s communications and care was excellent. Highly recommend.

Barry was a fabulous guest. He communicated very well. He was very complimentary of us and our cabin and it would be our pleasure to host him again.
Please note: during my review of Barry I inadvertently selected 4 stars for cleanliness, and not 5. To any other Hosts reading this please note that was a mistake on my part. My intention was to give him 5 stars across the board. I called VRBO to have the rating corrected, and they told me they are unable to do that (??). So, as stated above he was an ideal guest who I would strongly recommend.
The cabin was beautiful and extremely clean. My family and I had an amazing time and would stay again. The owners were beyond communicative and the process of checking in and out was easy. Lots of good memories made here!

Thank you for your great review-we love our housekeeper and honestly think she cleans it better than we would. It was fun communicating with you and hearing of the great time your family had. We would be honored to host you again.
We really enjoyed staying at the cabin which was very clean and comfortable. We were able to grill, enjoy the hot tub, sit around the fire pit in the evenings. Our stay was relaxing and fun. Also, we finally got to see a bear just as we were leaving which completed our trip!

About the host
Hosted by Scott Leathers
We got married in Cades Cove (GSMNP) in Oct. 1994. On our first anniversary we commissioned a painting by G.Webb (Glades Arts community) of the wedding location. We live in Franklin, TN, but often travel to this area for hiking, camping, and relaxation. Purchasing this cabin fulfills a long time dream of having our own place in the Smokies, as this is a frequent getaway place for our family and friends. We both have worked in the arts our entire lives.
Why they chose this property
We looked at many properties before choosing this one. Our biggest priority was privacy-we knew we would visit often and did not want to spend our vacation time in an over developed and overcrowded area. We knew this place was right the second we saw it. We also appreciated the large Master Bedroom and Living Area, something we did not see in a lot of other properties. And we really like the ease of getting to Gatlinburg and the Sugarlands entrance of the GSMNP; and it's closeness to Glades road and the Arts and Crafts community sealed the deal for us.
What makes this property unique
We hate to keep repeating ourselves, but for us the biggest benefit is the location. Just off the beaten path, but close to all the amenities.
