Wampler's Lake Cottage

Spacious, open first floor gives your group plenty of relaxing space. The kitchen is fully equipped. There are two main-floor bedrooms, one with a full size bed and one with bunk beds, and a bath with a claw-foot tub. The winding staircase takes you to the master bedroom, master bath that has a jacuzzi tub, and in-house laundry.

Outside, the open patio gives you a great view of the canal which leads to Wampler's Lake. Relax by the fire pit, chat with friends while enjoying the patio umbrella, table and chairs, or go for a stroll through the welcoming neighborhood.

Recent upgrades include a new front patio & steps, and a new seawall and dock. Fresh lawn to go along with the upgrades means there's great space for yard games and for everyone to play.

You are a short walk to Jerry's Pub and only minutes to drive to Hayes State Park, downtown Brooklyn, and MIS speedway featuring NASCAR and Faster Horses. Enjoy the many attractions the Irish Hills has to offer such as antique shops, wineries, and local festivals.

This place was amazing! The pictures really do not capture how spacious this place is. The views are awesome! The king sized bed was super comfy. We would definitely come back! Super clean and the layout is just perfect.

If you want to be on the water and enjoy a peaceful stay, this is the place for you. We loved the open floor plan and great outside seating. This canal is about half way between Wamplers and Iron Lake. The best if you want boating and kayaking. Super easy check in and out. We highly recommend this house close to everything in the Irish Hills.

great home, very clean, sleeps four comfortably in 3 bedrooms with upstairs dediated to the master bedroom and bath. Great dock for quick direct access to Wamplers Lake or Iron Lake. Property was as pictured in the online photos, kitchen had all the necessary items. Parking onsite, party store & gas station 5 minutes away and gorcery store 15 minutes in Brooklyn. Homeower was responsive and professional, will rent again.

Our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing. Everyday we looked forward to a beautiful peaceful day ahead. Off the dock fishing, and seeing swans and turtles up close was amazing. The home was spacious and equipped with many amenities, and our host was just a call away if we needed anything. If we have another opportunity, we would like to stay again.

The kitchen was well-stocked and even labeled so it was easy to find everything. There were even a few basic spices. The house was clean and had plenty of open space. It had a great view of the canal out the back patio. Host was great with communication and quick to respond to our messages. Overall a great place to stay.

It was very easy to communicate with Eric. The kitchen was well stocked. Beds were comfortable. The only thing we did not like were the pillows. There is a back patio with table and chairs right on the canal. You can easily walk to Jerry's Pub. I recommend this property.

Everything was as described! Plenty of towels, beach towels and washcloths. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again! Due to all the recent rain we weren’t able to get our tritoon under the canal bridge so weren’t able to dock at the house which was a bummer but was just a result of timing. The dock was really nice and had ropes ready to tie up to. If you aren’t an early riser bring a sleep mask if you’re in the upstairs bedroom. The sun comes in early!
