Patoka Lake Solarium Deluxe #19 at Patoka 4 Seasons Resort

Summary:

This spacious home comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests, making it ideal for large families, reunions, or group retreats. There are three bedrooms, and each bedroom features two queen beds and a TV with satellite service, offering plenty of comfortable sleeping space. The solarium provides additional accommodations with two full-size futons, along with a TV with satellite, DVD player, and a fireplace — a great extra space to relax or gather. The home includes two full bathrooms with tub/shower combinations, supplied with towels and basic toiletries, as well as a convenient half bath. The main living area features a couch, loveseat, TV with satellite and DVD player, and a fireplace, creating a welcoming space for everyone to spend time together. The kitchen is equipped with basic cooking utensils and a dishwasher, making meal prep and cleanup easy. There is also a laundry room for added convenience during your stay.



The Space:

We are surrounded by the beautiful Patoka Lake, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. While the lake is not visible directly from the cabins, we do have walking paths that will take you right to the water. There are also nearby boat ramps, making it easy to get out and enjoy a day on the lake. Whether you’re boating, fishing, or simply taking in the scenery, the lake is just minutes away!

Weekend getaway for a short ski trip at Paoli Peaks

What a great cabin! Large bedrooms, 2 beds in each, nice size kitchen and good table, 2 full bath, 1 half bath, 2 fireplaces, 2 living rooms!, big parking lot, outdoor firepit, and a large porch and two entrances. Such a great space for a large group to get together and enjoy a weekend around the lake.

Bachelorette weekend

This cabin was perfect for 14 women enjoying a bachelorette weekend. The cabin was clean and spacious. The owner was wonderful to communicate with. We found a lovely karaoke bar right down the road and a winery. French Lick was an easy 20 minute drive.

Christmas in July

We decided to create memories with our blended family instead of buying presents. 13 people, 3 days. This property was exactly what we needed. Our only issue was the mattresses for the futons were worn out and the springs dug into our bodies. Otherwise this is a 5 star in our book.

Charming Cabin In The Woods

This cabin was the cleanest rental I have ever stayed in. The cleaning crew was over the top! All of the kitchen cabinets were fully stocked and they re-organized for each rental. It was easy to find whatever you were looking for. Even a new looking roaster, crockpot and stockpot. There were nice, new dishes for 19 people. Even the coffee pot and oven were spotless. We loved all of the kitchen counter space. The little touches were great, like the wrapped toothpicks on the kitchen table. The like new towels were thick and absorbent. The beds were comfortable. The outside area had lots of shade from the trees. We had a peaceful fire every night and rocked on the porch every afternoon. The pictures do not do this place justice. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful peaceful stay at a lovely location

We really enjoyed the proximity to some lovely hikes in the Hoosier Forest, the lake at the nearby natural reserve (pontoon hire is easy and fun) , the amazing Morengo cave and even a drive-through safari park, complete with bears, giraffes and elephants. The cabin was clean, well stocked and perfect for a simple family stay. We hired towels rather than pack them-the cost was very reasonable. The little shop at the office is also reasonable for basics like dvds, s’mores, wood and charcoal. We bought groceries at French Lick which is 12 miles away but we wanted to be a bit remote and I enjoy cooking so we didn’t eat out but the takeaway restaurants in FL and nearby were nice. Overall-perfect for the kind of stay we wanted. If we return to Hoosier then we’ll definitely stay here. Thanks!!

Annual Polar Plunge

We had a great time. The Solarium #19 was perfect for our four family stay! Between two wineries, close to the lake, hiking and campfire! We give it 5-stars and will be back!!!

Outstanding for our group

Our annual ladies group of 12 stayed for 3 evenings. Everything worked perfectly except the wifi which was fixed very promptly. Well stocked kitchen. Close to Patoka Marina for boat rental.

We stayed in Cabin #19 with 2 other couples for a weekend getaway. While the weather was dreary with rain, we enjoyed the large kitchen/family room to play games and visit. So much nicer than separate hotel rooms!
