Truly a great find for everyone wanting to include other family and friends to make this a wonderful vacation experience while on property or participating in the many vacation options at your doorstep! No need for your car the entire week. Take the hassle out of worrying about how to get from point A to point B when everything is here! This 5 bedroom/7 bath is one of the few available homes in an optimum location just one block from groceries/retail/restaurants and most important, convenient and easy private access to the ocean with beach entry on the same street from its 8th row location. Also, as a bonus, the home is now located just two business blocks from Celebration Park featuring a pirate ship playground, walking paths, concerts, and large green space. Guests will appreciate the flexibility of participating as a group at any of these options or choosing their own path for the moment.

The home truly embraces vacation opportunities for all members of your family. The layout allows a spacious gathering place for socializing and relaxing for as many as 18 people. An elevator is available for unpacking convenience as well as easy access for family members who will appreciate its availability in this inviting vacation getaway. Featuring two outdoor living spaces, luxurious options are provided for lounging by the pool or in a covered patio. Watch sports or a movie on the TV while hanging out at the pool. More privacy is available in the outdoor upper level screened patio to allow a more quiet serene setting for relaxing or taking a break from the day’s events. The front porch is the width of the home allowing another space for guests who choose to simply enjoy sitting outdoors. Gorgeous gathering spaces are also available in the main floor great room, spacious fully equipped kitchen, or with the upstairs common area where kids can hang out and play.

Friends and Family Vacation

Awesome place and location

Even better in person. Tons of space, bathrooms, and TVs to go around. Very private as well. Have been coming to Forrest beach for 30 plus years and this was the best places we have stayed.

Wonderful house and can’t beat the location!

Walkable beach paradise

Great property for a large family trip. Plenty of beds/baths with large open concept living-dining-kitchen. We especially enjoyed the garage ping pong table and backyard pool & hot tub. Star of the show was the location - walkable to beach, grocery, coffee shops, restaurants and Celebration Park.

Perfect house for multiple couples

The property was exactly as listed, perfect space for 4 couples. The living room, dining room table and screened in porch were wonderful spaces for gathering and the house was just a short walk from the beach and the bike path.

Great Thanksgiving holiday!

We had 11 family members from across the country all travel to spend Thanksgiving together in HHI and this house was perfect. Plenty of hangout space for everyone and the kitchen was the right size for our Thanksgiving meal (which we catered in). The pool and hot tub area were great even for the late fall weather. It's short 2-block walk to Coligny Plaza and the beach made it easy to get around. I'd definitely stay again.

A wonderful week at this beautiful home. Don’t worry about bringing anything as it will be supplied. Every kitchen need, every beach need - it’s all here. With a bathroom for each bedroom and plenty of common space it was a great place to spend a week (especially when the weather didn’t really want to cooperate) 5 stars!

Perfect Hilton Head stay!

You cannot beat this rental! The location is absolutely perfect... quick walk to the beach. There are also shops, restaurants, and grocery stores nearby. The rental had everything you would need for a comfortable stay (towels, chairs, beach wagon, beach toys, washer/dryer, stocked kitchen, etc.). The place is exactly as pictured as well and so beautiful. It has plenty of space for a large group to vacation comfortably. Communication with the owner was easy and they responded quickly to any questions we had. We definitely recommend the Blue Bamboo to anyone looking to spend time in Hilton Head and we will definitely be back.

2nd Time as great as the first!

This was our second year staying at 9 Bittern. Just as wonderful a visit as last year. The house is the perfect size for a large group. There were 11 of us. Perfectly appointed, clean and new. With a private pool. You can’t beat the location. A short walk to the beach. And a two minute walk to Coligny shopping and restaurants. We had such a fantastic week. can’t wait to return again!

So close to everything- beach, stores, restaurants.

Very comfortable for 8 adults and 7 children. Lovely new decor. Kitchen had everything needed to cook for a crowd. Two refrigerators came in handy. The pool was a big hit fir the kids. So close to the beach, beach stores, the Piggly Wiggly, and restaurants. The owner and property manager quickly responded to our questions.. Home came with beach chairs, beach toys and the wagon to haul them to the beach. The owners thought of everything to make a stay very enjoyable.

Perfectly appointed. Perfect for large families.

An excellent home — new and well-appointed for being so new. From bikes, beach chairs and beach towels to pots, pans and utensils, it is as guest ready a home as we've stayed in. A trip with grandparents and adult children so two bedrooms on the main floor was an added plus. Pool with easy access to grill, large table, a TV and a second refrigerator make the house a great place to hang as a family. We typically stay in homes in Sea Pines or Palmetto Dunes and wasn't sure about the Coligny location but actually liked the proximity to the beach and the changing retail scene in and around Coligny. Highly recommend.

Great house for large family

This house checked most of the boxes we look for in a rental for a beach location. Beach chairs, beach towels, beach wagon, port-a-crib were provided which meant we didn’t have to transport all those items. Main living area was large enough for our large extended family and the screened in porch got lots of use. An extra refrigerator and ice maker in the lower level were also great to have. The close walk to the beach was also important for us. Proximity to the grocery store and Coligny were also pluses. The only minor drawback was the size of the pool for a group our size.

Good time, easy access to everything

We enjoyed the Blue Bamboo so much. 5 minute walk to the beach. 5 minute walk to grocery store and restaurants and bike trails 3 houses away. Couldnt ask for a better location. Neighborhood is quiet yet close to anything you could possibly want to do. Amenities are as advertised. Nothing is left out. Beach equipment and beach towels available, pool equipment, hot tub easy to use. Bright and very clean home. Elevator was a plus for us since we had an 81 year old with us. Easy checkin enabled us to get our vacation started right away. Thanks for making your home available. It was a treat to stay there!

The Bluebamboo Hilton Head

This property is amazing!!!!, From the minutue we arrived until the morning we left a week later everything was perfect. There were 15 of us and the house is large and specious & room for everyone including a bathroom for each bedroom. The bunk room was perfect for teenage kids, they loved it. Our family enjoiys our dinners together and with the bar stools at the table & bench chairs we all fit at the table. The elevator is a plus if you can't do steps. Everything you could need & want is at the house - beach towels and the beach is about a 3 minute walk - beach chairs, wagon for the beach - bikes, extra fridge, ping pong table, a high chair. Stores and restuarants all a short walk to get to. The pool and pool area was a favorite area for our family when not at the beach. Eddy the owner and Rena the property manager are great to work with, they are accomodating & helpfull. We were honored to be the first guests in the bluebamboo, and look forward to our family vaca repeat next year, same time, same place.

This property was beautiful and exactly as described. The main floor is completely open, so being with the people you're vacationing with is easy. At the same time, there are plenty of opportunities to get away if you desire. From the 5 bedrooms (each with their own bathroom), to the screened in porch, to the pool area - there are so many options. The property is also extremely close to the beach and plenty of shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. I loved that the property is also outfitted with plenty of dishware and kitchen supplies to help make cooking during your stay stress free. Having both a coffee pot for brewing AND a Keurig was a plus I hadn't expected! Also, having beach chairs, towels, and a wagon available to us for use during the stay was so convenient. It really cut down on what we had to pack coming from NY! Honestly a 10/10 stay. The property manager went above and beyond by texting me a few days prior to know what to expect for check in, as well as having a welcome binder when we arrived and even did a quick meet and greet so we could put a face to the property!

Perfect Beach Getaway for the Whole Family!

We had an amazing stay at this beach house! It's the perfect spot for a large family getaway. The home is spacious, clean, and well-stocked, making it easy to settle in and enjoy right away. One of our favorite features was the private pool — great for both kids and adults to cool off and relax. We also loved having a ping pong table on site, which made for some fun family tournaments in the evenings.The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach, so we could easily go back and forth throughout the day without any hassle. Whether we were lounging by the pool, enjoying meals together on the patio, or spending the day in the surf and sand, every moment felt like a perfect beach vacation. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it for families or groups looking for a memorable stay by the ocean!

Extended Family Midwest Roadtrip

My wife and I first visited Hilton Head in 1998 and have yet to find any other place that matches the tranquility of its island spirit.

This is one of the closest residences to both Coligny retail/venues combined with beach recreation, yet provides its own private oasis and vacation appeal as a one of the newer custom homes in the area.

What makes this property unique

The ease of access to local venues, restaurants, groceries, and beach makes it a very manageable vacation for whatever size group is staying at the property. It avoids the hassle of having to worry about another means of transportation to handle a large party or separate parties pursuing their paths on occasion for a change of pace. You will appreciate the unique access to many options combined with the accommodation size of the home allowing flexibility and the pace each of the guests chooses for the moment.
