The host, Christine, was very helpful, friendly and gracious. She responded quickly to any questions that I had and also provided some sightseeing insights that were very helpful. The house was very clean, comfortable and quite functional. The location was fantastic, only about a block from the shore and beach. The house is also convenient to all the D-Day invasion beaches, museums and memorials. Bayeux is also close (definitely visit the cathedral here). It's also in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Also very family-friendly (a son and two grandchildren from Luxembourg stayed with us). Excellent value for the moderate price.
