This cabin is a great spot for your once in a lifetime Alaskan vacation or just a weekend stay-cation! Located on a 13 acre property, just 4 miles from downtown Soldotna, it’s close enough to town for shopping or dining but far enough away to enjoy the beauty of the Kenai Peninsula.
Enjoy this entire cabin! There are three identical cabins on this property. (Some decor and furniture may be slightly different in each unit)
We live in one of them so we are only steps away if you need anything.
The master bedroom (queen bed) and bathroom are on the downstairs level. The upstairs is an open loft with 2 more beds (full and queen) and a lounge area.
**SAFETY NOTICE***The stairs to the loft are steep and shallow. If you have issues with balance or footing on stairs, the loft bedroom might not be the best option for you.

House was great! In the middle of everything. Host was awesome and was available if we need anything. Washer and dryer were perfect. Such a great house.
This cabin was an incredible place to spend a vacation. There is no detail over look and it was well supplied with all the basics and a few well thought out extras that made our stay amazing!
Everything about this property is great! It’s a central location to explore Homer and Seward. Very clean, and well maintained. The owners keep it well stocked with essential, which is awesome! Would stay here again!
Great place to relax after a day of activity in the Kenai Peninsula! Very comfortable, clean and Cyndy’s attention to detail was spot on. Check in, check out and communication of any needs was easy and smooth. We enjoyed our stay and meeting/playing w/your sweet dog.
When we areived, we were pleasantly surpised by how cute the cabin. The interior was immaculate, everything was as it stated in the listing, and it was very comfortable. I would totally recommend this cabin to friends and family.
The home was awesome. It was Perfect for our group. Our time here was very nice. Cyndy was an excellent host! The beds were comfortable. It was in a really nice location. The home is very well built and it was decorated with much class. I would come back in a heart beat.
A nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Our great/grand nieces loved cabin, my husband and I too. Girls and i stayed in the loft room. They loved the portable room divider/ dressing room panel. Kitchen had everything we needed and plenty of sitting room in the living room. Will return again. Lots of room in the yard for girls to run around and release some energy
This is an absolute must stay for anyone looking for a place near Soldotna, AK. This was a first time renting a place online and we couldn’t have picked one better! First the VRBO website made it extremely easy to find and subsequently book. Once that was completed the communication between the property owners and myself all the way through was impeccable! There was never a question that I had, which didn’t get answered immediately. Finally, the cabin (#2) was exactly as advertised. We couldn’t have been more happy with the stay. It was so clean and well thought out. There wasn’t anything we wished we had. In fact we wished that we had just booked our entire stay there! I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to the area. Job well done!!!
The cabin was spectacular! Two beds upstairs in a loft, one bed in the master bedroom on main level.
Unless you are very comfortable with someone sleeping in the same bed, this is really a three person cabin. Any more and it is close quarters.
The cabin is new. Incredible craftmanship! The kitchen is small, but very well appointed: silverware, dishes, glasses, sharp knives, pots/pans, utensils, spices (!).
It's a one bathroom, but it is large. The washer/dryer is a huge plus given that fishing can get a little slimy.
Anything that I needed, Cyndy had! Needed a net - she provided. Wanted a coffee pot instead of the Keurig - she provided.
Grill was awesome and we took solid advantage of for fish, steaks and burgers.
Overall, the nicest VRBO I have stayed in, and I have stayed all over the world. Highly recommend.
We loved seeing a mama moose with her baby nearby! 2 of the 3 beds in this rental are upstairs with steep narrow stairs to climb. Stairs would be a challenge during the night to get to bathroom downstairs if needed. Nice owners on site!
What a wonderful little jewel just outside Soldetna. The home has everything you could possibly need, and the hosts were just amazingly helpful, and accommodating and just lovely people. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will be here again on our next fishing trip!
We enjoyed our stay. Liked that the cabin was off the beaten path. Cabin was extremely nice and hosts were very helpful. Would stay again if back in the area.
Thank you so much for the great experience! The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed and more. Thank you for the Moose experience that was out of this world!! Definitely recommend staying here the hosts are amazing people.
The cabin was so clean and the owners had EVERYTHING you would need! The owners live right next door and were very polite and willing to help with anything you need and still managed to let you vacation without interruption. I think we bugged them more than anything! They have become great friends now and we will definitely return! The description is perfect and it’s a great location! Thanks Cyndy and Darren! Oh, and thanks for all the fun playing ball Oz! 💕
The cabin is clean. The property is beautiful. We enjoyed our stay.

About the host
Hosted by Cyndy Honey
In 2018, we went to Alaska for one week to visit some friends and fell in love with the Last Frontier! A year later, we had sold our home, quit our jobs, and headed north to start our new lives in Alaska. It's the best decision we ever made! We love Soldotna for it's relaxed pace of life, world class salmon fishing, and the beautiful surroundings that we now get to call home.
Why they chose this property
This property is conveniently located on the outskirts of Soldotna. There are 3 cabins on the property, and the rest of the 13 acres is raw land. You will be able to enjoy a camping like experience with all the luxuries of home. You'll be surrounded with trees, Alaska's beautiful wild flowers, and occasionally see some of Alaska's moose wondering around in our yard.
