On the day of our arrival I contacted the host. We had arrived in Seaside early and called to see if we could check in early. She was very nice and allowed us to check in. The house was very clean. They even had special things for use by our fur babies, which was very nice. The house was older but still very comfortable. This was probably one of my favorite places. The only issue was the wall heater in the bathroom needs replacing as it is old and the cover was broken. We did not need it. Also the water in the kitchen faucet was slow. But shower was GREAT. We will be returning to this rental again as we stay in Seaside quite often.

Location is excellent. Close to everything with easy access. Downstairs unit is perfect with pets. We had our two pugs and it was very convenient to have the front yard accessible and fenced in. The hot tub was a bonus. Overall the place was clean. There were a few ants in the kitchen. The only toilet is very low to the ground. If there’s someone staying in the upstairs unit you’ll hear them moving about. Otherwise the neighborhood is quiet. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We would stay here again.

Perfect level if autonomy

Eric and Joan own the home and manage it together. We both teach college courses and have 3 grown sons, daughter-in-laws, and several grandchildren. We live in the Portland area and look forward to the day when we can retire to Seaside. We are in Seaside weekly.

Why they chose this property

We bought this home for the beautiful and serene neighborhood close to the beach and downtown, so we would have a great place to stay in Seaside. We completely remodeled it and then decided we should share it with others. We enjoy staying here ourselves frequently.

What makes this property unique

We love parking the car and walking to great restaurants and shops, all along the prom where we can view the beach. We also leave a pair of bikes there and enjoy riding around Seaside. Adding the hot tub and fire pit and renovating the back yard have added a lot to the properties appeal.
