Wanderlust Cottage at Lazy Days on the Manitowish Chain

The Wanderlust Cottage is one of 4 homes at this resort style property with 200 feet of frontage on the beautiful Manitowish Chain of lakes. The Wanderlust Cottage has a cool industrial modern style with rustic, reclaimed touches. It's bright teal door invites you in to get away from the mundane and dream about what fun experiences your vacation will bring.



Hop on one of the complimentary kayaks (2 included), rent a pontoon from us or bring your own. You will love this water that you can explore for days. The waters edge and your private dock and sun deck are just a short walk from your cottage.



As for the house, the 4 bedroom, 3 bath home has plenty of space to accomodate a group up to 10 people. The main level includes a spacious master suite with a King bed and walk in curbless tiled shower and skylight, a second bedroom with a queen bed and a window seat, and 2nd full bathroom with a tub/shower and another skylight . The lower level has an additional bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk room with 2 twin over full bunks, a full bathroom with a shower and a rec room area with a 70" tv.



The gourmet kitchen comes fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes and utensils you might need to make a feast, a dishwasher to help you clean up and it has a giant granite island with 5 stools. While the adjacent dining room has seating for 8 more.



Don't miss having a meal or playing some cribbage under an actual 13' 1940's wooden boat in this screened in porch with an outdoor dining table or having a fire in your private firepit.



Get cozy at the end of the day or on those rainy afternoons with an old fashion and a good book in front of the beautiful fireplace.



Even though this cottage is on a resort style property, great care and planning has gone into making private separate outdoor spaces for each home so that everyone is sure to have their own space and a wonderful time!

My family and I were more than pleased with our rental cottage. Everything seemed updated and clean. We stayed next to friends in a neighboring cottage and were able to rent Angel’s boat as well. The boat and home were truly all we needed to have a great weekend up north! We would absolutely stay again!

Gorgeous property!

College friends gathered for vacation at the Wanderlust “Cabin”. The house is more beautiful than the photos online! They had every amenity we could think of! The Manitowish Chain is So Gorgeous! Great place to stay on the Manitowish Chain. These "cottages" were absolutely fabulous. Spacious, great decor and very clean. They has everything you could want away from home!

Charming and spacious, attentive owner!

Warmly decorated cottage with large outside seating area. Bedrooms were very comfortable with plenty of storage space. The kitchen had everything we needed and the kids loved the movie seating downstairs. Having kayaks available allowed for spur of the moment paddles around Alder Lake. We also rented a pontoon from the owner and enjoyed exploring the chain of lakes. The owner was responsive to our questions and check in/out were very easy.

This property is the perfect mix of convenient and private and serene. Easy to reach off main highways, but tucked away on 6 wooded acres. Being on the Chain, with your own dock, gives you access to some of the best and most desirable water in Northern WI. We have built the cottages with much thought into making everyone's stay extremely comfortable, beautiful and peaceful.

What makes this property unique

Modern amenities with space for the whole family; perfect for multiple generations. Out of the hustle and bustle of tourist areas for a true relaxing stay, but plenty of great restaurants and activities nearby.
