Minutes away from 5 1/2 miles of beach for vehicle/ four wheel/all-wheel drive recreation. The Ocean Dunes are the only California State Park that permits vehicle admission. Take a beautiful drive on the coast to watch some of the most famous sunsets this country has to offer.
Surfing, swimming, surf fishing, horseback riding and bird watching are popular activities and a few miles up the coast you will find more activities like kayaking, cycling, wake boarding, board walking, wine tasting and delicious dining. The link below will guide you about the dunes!

This area is among the most popular and unique of California State Parks. The 5 1/2 miles of beach open for vehicle use and the sand dunes available for off highway motor vehicle recreation are attractions for visitors from throughout the United States. Oceano Dunes is the only California State Park where vehicles may be driven on the beach. Four wheel drive / all wheel drive vehicles are recommended for driving on the beach and to the camping and off-highway vehicle use areas in the park. Beach wheelchairs are available for loan at the Pier and Grand Avenue entrances to the beach. Surfing, swimming, surf fishing, horseback riding and bird watching are popular activities. Just a few miles up the coast you'll find more activities like kayaking, cycling, wake boarding, board walking, wine tasting an so much more! Also close to restaurants, shopping and medical attention.

Great central location especially if you want to do ATV/UTV sandune type activities as you are literally steps away from the beach. It is a unique beach as it allows vehicles onto the beach. The house was nice and had everything we needed to make it home base and enjoy the beach and what Pismo has to offer.

Thanksgiving get-away with family

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Very close to the beach. The house was very roomy for our group of 11. The dining table was large and had enough room for all of us. It had a well stocked kitchen. Plenty of cookware, serving pieces, plates, silverware and wine glasses for our Thanksgiving feast! Some of the furniture was a bit worn though. But, overall, it was very comfortable.

Great Property and Friendly/Easy-to-Work-With Property Managers

The home was as-advertised - in great shape with a big, functional kitchen and good common space for multiple families. The rooms were comfortable and nicely maintained. Great upstairs deck. 3-4 minute stroll to the beach. Plenty of parking (2-3 in the driveway and 1 garage slot on the backside of the house). Would definitely recommend for big families or multi-family gatherings near the beach. Booking was a little awkward via VRBO. Seems to be a bit armslength... kinda wonder why the big booking fee to VRBO if I have to then contact the property manager separately provide payment info again. The property management was pleasant, and easy to work with, so no real issues.
