This is a very sweet cottage right on the lake and is quiet and private. The hosts were very thoughtful and made sure we were well taken care of. It was nice to have use of kayaks and a canoe. The screened-in porch is a lovely place to relax. We had a great stay.

Nice little cabin right by the lake. Extremely quiet lake and neighborhood. Loved the peaceful feeling. The owner even supplied us with half and half to add to our coffee. Heard an owl every night. Super cool!

I had a wonderful time at this cabin. All paddle boards and kayaks are in your backyard. There is a great indoor sitting area to have coffee and your breakfast. 25 minutes from Dreampark Cooperstown. Owners are extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Thank you Vanessa! We are so glad you enjoyed your time at the lake and your son's baseball experience at Dreams Park. We enjoyed hosting a guest like you and would love to have you back if you ever return to the area! Barb
We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe that were on-sight. We were fortunate to see a bald eagle and catch a lot of fish in the lake. The Owners provided starter wood for the fire pit, charcoal for the grill, and other essentials for our stay. It was rustic as disclosed. We had a great week of baseball and enjoyed the wildlife during our stay there.
If you're looking for the Ritz Carlton, then go to the city...but if you want a nice cottage right on the lake, feet from the water, this is the place for you! Great place to just relax in a hammock, read a book on the enclosed porch or playing a board in the living room. If you're looking for water to do some fishing...this is the place to be. Bluegill, Northern Pike, and Bass...lots of Bass! We caught Bass of all sizes each and every day we were there! The canoe, kyacks, and paddle board get you out on the water as well. Lastly, the owners were very quick to rectify an issue we had with the cottage at the start of our vacation. Would highly recommend staying here if you are looking to get away from it all, do some fishing, and or as your home base to go check out Cooperstown and the surroundings areas. 5 out of 5 stars!

Chris, Dawn and kids, We are so very glad you had great weather and that the fishing was so successful. It was great hosting wonderful guests like you! Please be in touch if you ever decide to come back to the Cooperstown area! Barb
We could not get enough of the lake view aurrounded by the beauty of the Fall color display! While the cabin is small and rustic, all of our needs were anticipated and met beyond expectation. The fire pit was built before we arrived, with all the fixins for s'mores gifted by our hosts. Having access to kayaks and the canoe made enjoying the lake extra special. The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of extras in the pantry, bottled water was plentiful, and the bathroom had more towels than we could ever use! The lights were left on for our late night arrival. We were very surprised to find strong wifi and streaming services on the TV. Although we didnt use these modern conveniences too much because of the abundant outdoor activities nearby - including apple picking and hiking.
Barb is a very warm, generous, caring host and excelled at friendly and timely communication.
If we find our way back to this area, we will be sure to make this cabin our home away from home once again!

My husband John and I have owned our cottage for fifteen plus years. We have been renting our cottage on a limited basis for most of those years through a private realtor until this year- and take great pride in taking care of everything for your stay ourselves. We love the outdoors and especially enjoy being close to Cooperstown while we are at the lake. We live within an hour from the property in the western Catskills and are avid hikers, bicyclists, swimmers and kayakers.
Why they chose this property
