VACATION in 🇨🇦 CANADA 🇨🇦: Pet Friendly All-Season Getaway by the Ottawa River

Welcome to Bearable Pleasures!

Our water front property is truly a nature lovers paradise! 1.5 acres of privacy and 175 feet of waterfront on a quiet bay on the Ottawa River. Pet and family friendly getaway where you can build new memories with loved ones, during any season.

In the summer, easy water entry for swimming and boating, enjoy the river on the shore by the fire pit, or sit on the dock for a beautiful view or catch a fish or two. There are areas on the river where you can watch birds and wildlife, kayaks with life jackets provided for your safety. In the winter, you can still have an outdoor fire, enjoy the hot tub, ice fishing is fantastic in the bay (available a few weeks only in January and February if weather allows), toboganning is possible right in the back yard, and snowshoeing is also a blast.

This lovingly built cottage offers large principal rooms for family gatherings! Cozy kitchen along with a dining area for meals together, with view on the river. A large family room with pool and ping pong table, card table, Google tv for streaming your favorite shows, play room for toddlers... everything needed for entertaining adults and kids on cool or rainy days!

Every thing is provided, linen, towels, fully equipped kitchen with Keurig machine and filtered water, propane bbq, just bring your food, personal items and bathing suits. No daily maid service is provided. The property is to be left clean as on arrival.

Yes your pet dog is welcome. We do not allow cats or other animals. We ask dogs be kept on our property, not allowed to roam, kept quiet, off our furniture and cleaned up after.

Enjoy the large deck that fills with sun, a veranda to dine in, or an evening fire by the fire pit, any season. Only a 45 minutes drive from Ottawa, and 20 minutes from Rockland where you can find all amenities you need, like grocery stores, LCBO, gas station.

This cottage offers best of both worlds - peace and tranquility or fun and adventure!

**Note 1 - Check-out days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday only to allow time for maintenance - exceptions may be possible upon request**
**Note 2 - Due to safety reasons, both propane fireplaces are not operational**
