They provided several extras including their own blend of coffee. Living space was more than adequate. Comfortably slept five adults.

We're glad to hear the living space was spacious and comfortable for your group, and that you enjoyed the extra touches—especially the coffee blend. We’d love to host you again!
I would come again in a heartbeat! The place was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. It really made the trip wonderful! We enjoyed hours on the back porch watching the deer across the pond, and lots of other animals. I reached out to the staff the first morning we were there and they got back to me very quickly and were kind and helpful!
This property was clean. It may have needed the baseboards painted, but that doesn't matter. It had every kitchen utensil we looked for. The porch is a wonderful place to sit and watch the creatures on the lagoon and the golfers. Convenient to the beach and the rest of the island. Highly recommended.

Thank you, Laura! We’re so glad you enjoyed the clean property and had everything you needed in the kitchen. The porch sounds like the perfect spot to relax and take in the views. We appreciate your recommendation.
We enjoyed our three night stay at this Kiawah condo. Beautiful views, even in cold rainy weather. We have known for years that Kiawah is beautiful even in the winter -- and uncrowded. This location is convenient for walks to the beach and Bass Pond. Condo was comfortable and functional. We would rent this unit again. That said, this particular unit appears to be a full-time rental, is a bit dated, and it is managed by a third party. We have rented houses and condos all over Kiawah and know that each property has different features and qualities. This unit could stand some minor updates and small additions to improve the living experience, particularly in the kitchen. And it would be nice if the unit included some basic supplies, such as salt and pepper shakers, cone filters that actually fit the coffee maker and kitchen utensils that are up to date. Yes, these are very minor items, but these things were available in the VRBO properties we have visited recently. Bottom line, we enjoyed the condo and would rent it again. We would be thrilled to see some minor updates and details improved. Thanks for sharing your condo with us.

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Jonathan! We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay and the beautiful views Kiawah offers, even during winter. It’s wonderful to hear you found the condo comfortable and functional, and we’re glad its location allowed for easy walks to the beach. Your feedback on minor updates and additions is much appreciated. We’re thrilled you’d consider renting this unit again and hope it continues to provide a great escape on Kiawah Island!

Nice place with a few problems
This is a nicely decorated villa with a great view but just a few problems. First of all, the outdoor entry hallway needs a new lightbulb - it was very difficult to enter lockbox code and figure out how to unlock the door in the dark. Unfortunately, it had recently rained so the cushions on the deck furniture was completely soaked and covered with leaves and branches. It would be nice to have instructions for the TV (which is a very small size) and a list of which channels are available. The bedrooms are very small (queen bed) and the one of the twin beds in the other bedroom makes the closet in that room totally unusable. We noticed several places where the electrical outlets were completely pulled out of the walls. Also beware that if you do not sign up for daily housekeeping, you will need to pack and bring your own garbage bags, dishwasher pods and kleenex boxes. They only leave supplies for one day. We had to buy all of these items plus more paper towels at a local grocery store for our six day stay. We loved the large deck and the beautiful view of a stream and the golf course 18th hole.

Guest satisfaction is our number one priority so obviously seeing these notes was concerning. The property manager has repaired the outlets on the walls, so this should no longer be an issue moving forward for future guests!

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
The location is excellent--on the 18th hole of the Turtle Point Golf Course. But the problems began as soon as we turned the key in the lock.
The issues were small, but they added up:
-The coffee maker did not work properly. We called management 3 different times and asked for a replacement. Our requests were ignored.
-There were no basic spices in the house--not even salt and pepper.
-There were no dish sponges.
-There was no dish drying rack.
-Some of the cookware and glasses were dirty.
-The primary bedroom has one bedside lamp. The outlet it is plugged into is only partly functional. The top of the outlet does not work. There are no outlets on the other side of the bed, so even if you wanted to plug another lamp in (say because one of you wanted to go to sleep and the other wanted to continue reading) , you could not. Two outlets on one of the bedroom walls were not functional. One of the bulbs in the bedroom ceiling was out.
Small upgrades to this venue would make it a lovely place.

I'd like to start off by saying I am not normally one to complain or make mountains out of molehills, so the fact that I am writing this review should tell you something. This is a lovely little house in a great location with beautiful scenery. BUT! It was not the best experience and had quite a few small things start to add up throughout our stay. To start, upon putting our luggage in the master bedroom, we saw a large brownish/yellowish stain on the rug AND the bed comforter, both larger than the size of our hand. The next day, upon trying to cook breakfast, we pulled out pans to cook eggs and 3 of the pans had food scraps stuck on them. We pulled down a cup to put coffee in and the bottom of the cup was layered with a white film about a 1/4 inch thick. The kitchen did not have ample tools and dishes to actually make a meal - the whole reason we sprung for a VRBO instead of a hotel was so that we could cook a few meals in the house and not eat out for every meal - this place made this quite the challenge. Trust all the other reviews when it says they literally don't even have salt or pepper to offer their guests, nor a sponge to wash your dishes. Kind of pathetic. The toaster was broken and only toasted one side of the bread. Lastly, we found a cockroach in the home on our last day. This is a cute little place to stay, but completely lacking in cleanliness and sufficient tools for a comfortable stay. We even took photos of all these items (except the cockroach), but they cannot be uploaded here.

Hey Melissa - thank you for the review and the feedback. I'm sorry to hear you didn't have the best experience. We have been using the same housekeeping team for years now, and they are typically spot on! We usually get compliments on their work, and have very high standards for them. I'm sorry that we didn't know about the cleaning problems as we would have been more than happy to immediately send a housekeeper out to remedy anything needed, or bring any supplies that were missing! We've done a full audit of the home since to make sure everything is in good order. We appreciate the feedback and would be happy to discuss further with you. Thanks for the review nonetheless! We hope to make it up to you next time!
Located in very nice neighborhood close to the beach. Comfy beds. Deck was relaxing overlooked the golf course. Alligators, white tail deer, cool birds and jumping fish entertained us for hours. Close to village shopping. Suggestions for improvement: add grill or broiler pan, upgrade tv in living room, fix wall sockets and remove broken chairs. That said, We enjoyed this relaxing place.
