Great host. Very helpful. Well managed property. There is a steep driveway so have AWD as recommended. Snow was shoveled & plowed by 7 AM when it snowed, so no worries. Nice kitchen area to hang out with family and friends.

Thank you, Dana! We're so glad to hear you enjoyed the convenient location and the amenities. We look forward to welcoming you back for another great stay!
We came here for a friend’s ski trip (11 of us) and had an absolutely wonderful time. Great amenities, PLENTY of space, and we used the spa area daily. You will need a 4WD car to get up the hill in the winter, and it’s not that walkable to the bus in the winter (because of the hill), but with cars it was totally fine. Avantstay hosted is very well.

Thanks so much, Rachel! We’re glad to hear you and your friends had an amazing ski trip and enjoyed the amenities, especially the spa! We appreciate the heads-up about the hill—it’s great that the cars worked out for your group. We’re glad Avantstay was able to take care of everything for you. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
Had a great time staying here with some friends. Driveway is tough in the winter, and its a bit of a journey to get to the ski slopes without driving, but there is a bus stop about ~8 mins walking away that takes you. The house was very nice on the inside (much nicer than I even thought based on the pictures) and the hosts were very responsive to all emails. The jacuzzi is very large and overall it was a very nice stay. It was a very private property.

We are so happy to hear that you enjoyed our property, Brian! You and your group were such a pleasure to host, and we’re so thrilled you felt at home. Please come back anytime!
We loved this house. It is bright and airy inside. The rooms are comfortable and big. It was just the two of us, but there was plenty of space for other people. Beautiful views out the windows. Awesome hot tub with starry night views (but covered). We could walk to breakfast, but felt like we had a property to ourselves (lots of privacy). Everything is very close (good restaurants, grocery). We cooked at home a few times and the kitchen was well stocked. Can't wait to visit again!

We're delighted that the location provided convenience with close proximity to good restaurants, grocery stores, and the ease of walking to breakfast. It's wonderful to hear that the well-stocked kitchen allowed you to enjoy some home-cooked meals.
We can't wait to welcome you back for another visit!
Rustic old house with character and plenty of space.
This is a rustic four-story house, apparently built around 1930. Included is a nice little apartment above the two-car garage. The kitchen was stocked with some essentials. The dining room table was large enough to seat our entire group of 12. Laundry facilities were good. We were not far from grocery shopping opportunities, yet we saw up to four deer in the yard, close to the house nearly every day. The house is surrounded by a beautiful birch forest, and it was difficult to see the nearest neighbor. One note of caution: the house and bedrooms require using stairways. The steps inside the house are OK, but the rough-rock steps and walking path to approach the house are also rustic and could be challenging for person who have difficulties walking.

Dangerous and very difficult to access property. Driveway is a very long and steep hill.
Driveway is actually a steep road that is about 1/4 mile long. Had to carry luggage and children up and down this road. All of our party fell several times. Neighbors helped us and said this is a common occurrence and that this property should not be rented in the winter. The path from garage to house is narrow and is unlit without handrails. Several of our guests fell off the path, suffering a two foot drop. We reached out to the manager and we were not compensated for this awful experience. This property should come with a warning and minimum physical requirement.

Hi Laura,
Thank you for your review. We are so sorry to hear you had trouble accessing the location of the property. First and foremost I hope everyone in your group is safe. We had our heaviest snow year this year in the last 15 years. Our team did address and plow the driveway numerous times for your party during your stay. Unfortunately, the weather is outside of AvantStay's control.
