About this property
Actually, on the Beach condo. Private Beach so Zen
Beautifully remodeled condo ON THE BEACH ( like it’s on the sand so authentically beachfront )! It is a gated, restricted area on one of the few private beaches in Destin. When staring out, you only see the ocean- the pool is not in the line of sight, and the balcony is enormous-3x the size of most, so it feels super Zen and relaxing. This 2/2 sleeps 8 comfortably and has upscale finishes and bedding. There is NO beach crowd, and umbrellas are never more than one row back year-round.

Hello, I am Nikki. I have a Master's Degree in Business and have worked most of my life as a Real Estate Broker. My husband is a physician, so we both stay pretty busy. I have three beautiful little boys who we have taken to Destin their entire life. We love to travel and explore and in going many places near and far, have found few beaches to compare to the white sands and warm waters in Destin, Florida.
Why they chose this property
OMG! We fell in love. It was like a little slice of Hawaii hidden in the middle of Florida. When I first walked up, I heard birds chirping ( No really, there is a lot of greenery and it has more of a lush island feel than you usually get in a high rise. Like there were actually birds). I realized this place was certainly not like the rest of the high rises we had seen and stayed at over the years.

As I glanced around at the quirky and remarkably genius architecture I noticed that there were so few units and they were all very spaced out. I love people but not so many crowds, when I am trying to get my zen on so that was a huge plus.
When I opened the door to the unit it was so open and light and inviting. Most of the living area was in the kitchen and family room (a huge plus for me since I want to have memories of us together) and the balcony was a direct view of the ocean. Ok, I'm getting quirky here but I don't like overlooking 47802548329 people at a pool on the balcony. I want to look out and see the ocean and sand.
Then I went into the Master and found it too had a huge sliding door overlooking the balcony. Ok, the balcony is probably 3 times the size of most we have stayed at so I freaked out in Joy. It's also on floor two, so a brother fight is much less stressful and I can do yoga with tons of space to be quirky and free.
My kiddos are all so different and it was a fit for everyone. It's quieter for my youngest, who gets overwhelmed in crowds. It has tons of grass area for my middle who is obsessed with soccer, and it has wifi for my oldest who is quite the gamer.
Everything was totally remodeled and immaculate. It was floors throughout which was amazing for my OCD haha.
When I went straight to the beach, without elevator drama or a crowd, I saw the quietest and calmest private beach protected by the Jetties and overlooking the beautiful bay and knew it would have to be our forever paradise.

What makes this property unique
The condo is 1147 feet and is located in the Aegean complex on Holiday Isle. It is completely updated and has a HUGE balcony overlooking a beautiful private beach. The unit is on floor 2, so you get an ocean view without being so high up. It has two large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Master has a king size bed, bedroom two has a full and a twin, the living room has a sofa bed, and we have a twin cot. It sleeps 7-8 very comfortably.
The Aegean is one of the few complexes in a very restricted residential area. Like 30-A, it’s less crowded, but it is much closer to all the activities in Destin since the summer traffic is significant. It’s like a skip from everything Destin, including Big Kahuna, crab island, and the tracks. It is less than a mile to Louisiana Lagniappe and since it is in a mostly residential area a great place to stroll or ride bikes to grab a bite.
One of our favorite things is that the balcony overlooks the ocean only, so it feels super Zen and relaxing. It has a great pool, tennis courts, and other outdoor amenities. The washer and dryer are located in the unit, and since it’s such a small complex, you can park at the door and don’t have to deal with long elevator waits.
If you fish, it’s 3.2 Miles from the Destin Marina. It’s quirky and quiet and close to fishing and fun. Snorkeling We love it and hope you love it also!

¾ of a mile to the Destin Jetties for free snorkeling
1.4 miles to Krispy Cream, Target, and Winn Dixie
2.2 miles to the Tracks
1.7 miles to miles to Big Kahuna Water Park
The peninsula of Holiday Isle is a prized property in the Destin area. Bordered by the Destin harbor on the north and the Gulf of Mexico on the south side. A group of property owners banded together and successfully protected their beaches for themselves and kept their beaches PRIVATE! About two-thirds of Holiday Isle’s private beach is between the only two HIIA-only accesses.
